I'm digging this TJ, love the rear shock set up. Did you change the springs? I'd love to open up the bed area of my TJ build.

I am running stock scx10 shocks with only the long spring on there and the tensioner turned up some.

How's the torque twist with the shocks layed down that far?

I'm guessing you get more travel from the rear as well.

I have them internally limited so its about the same flex as if it had traditional shock mounts. With the tension turned up it eliminates most of it. I had a swaybar on it for a bit but it kust limited flex and didn't change the twist. I would say it has a out the same torque twist as any scx10 witb a 4 link and stock shocls.

Wow with the shocks layed down that much I'm surprised its not worse. Very cool. Do you have the shocks limited in up travel or down?

I've got to make some corners like that.

Mmmm, got to love an SCXR axle. What servo do you have on there?

Your pictures make the thread, great looking rig in great looking terrain. Nice job, I will be back!

It's running great, after driving my class 1 tj build with a brushed motor I forgot how much downhill control you have. I'm switching back to brushed on this jeep. We had a comp this past weekend and it did great but I found myself dreading going down any long descents. I also installed the overdrive gears in the front axle and it turns on a dime now ! I didn't get any pics from this last comp as I was building and modifying courses most of the day.

Here is a pic of my class 1 rig

Default Guzzy the RED TJ Build

Rewired the tj with the newly redesigned motor mount. Also swapped to brushed HH motor and an fxr. I also installed super firm coils out back to try to counteract some body lean I was getting. Looking forward to seeing the difference at the February comp.
