Nice looking truck. How well did the growlers fit before the pinch?

Without the pinch cab, forget it, the tires rubs way too much in almost any position: flex, full steering and even at normal stance...

You would have to used wraith like wide axles to fit them properly...
With my .600 vp hub and the pinch cab, they rub a bit at full flex but the rig perform very well

Thanks for the info! Gonna try rock beast and see how much rubbing I have before pinching.

I also really like your black on black paint scheme. Subtle but very well done.

The cutting it up I am comfortable with but what glue do you use and what do you use to fill any imperfections?

will try to explain as good as i can (as u can see english is not my primary language!)

-First i cut the cab...
-Then i heated the cab with a heat gun to be able to pinch it easily and hold it like that for about 10-15 minute to let it cool down...
-I used 2 little pieces of styrene and glue them with Shoegoo to the interior
-Once dry, i used car reapair putty to fill the gap, let it dry, sand it, put some more putty, let it dry again, sand it... did this 2-3 times to be sure everything looks perfect
-Primer (couple of coat, sand between)
-Paint...

Hope its clear enought... If not, here the build thread i used to do it... (it in french but check the pics in the middle of the thread!)

Ok found for a reason, my front suspension was almost inexistant... All the flex came from the rear suspension...
To try to isolate the problem, i put the softest spring a could found... Same problem... So it didn't came from the shocks but somewhere else...
After looking and playing with the front axles, i saw the shocks cap rubbing really hard on a screw of the shocks relocalisation part... The shocks was almost bending at mid flex... So i move the kit 1 hole down and no more problem... Now i go FULL flex and a better handling rig...

Pics for now, video later...
