It looks like it took that terrain like a boss. Time to push its limits!

Very cool build, this might get me motivated again on rebuilding my scaler!

Man, I can't get enough of this truggy. It's just a really well executed, aesthetically pleasing, and functional build. Enough scale and attention to detail that is doesn't look like a toy, but not so much that you don't want to actually use it. Your parts selection is all reliable, proven, and fairly affordable, and none required extensive fabrication. I am seriously considering parting out my three rigs and combining them into a very similar build since I have at least 50% of the same/similar parts between the rigs; spare unused Hilux cab, 1.9 Growlers (on OMFs even, haha), spare SCX10 chassis, spare Big Bores, Super Shafty Axial tranny, built SSD D60 axles, etc. Maybe do a dovetailed bed instead of a tube rear. I haven't had a Hilux in 4+ years and my last was tall and tippy, not like this one. Oddly, I kinda miss that rig.

One question, did you lower/travel-reduce the Big Bores, or are they full-length?

I am a fan of this yota as well and was glad to run across it while I was doing my build. If I had not run across it I probably wouldn't have bobbed the front of mine.

Thx a lot guys... I really appreciated those compliments... Someone to tell me my rig gave him the will to make/finish a build because of it... WOW...

As for the big bore, they are bone stock... lenght, oil, spring (for now), etc... all stock... With the right setup, they perform really well and are very smooth... I just installed a relocation shocks mount front to be able to ''tilt'' them enough (sorry Google translator)
I have to say i will probably put some softer spring front, a friend of mine run almost the same setup but with Rustler white spring front and loves them, so will probably give it a try...

It's rigs like this one that makes me want to build a truggy. I feel like my F-350 bodied scx10 is a boat! And I love the wheels! I love me some methods but I'd chose these any day!

Yea, this thing is pretty sweet. I looked up the company that makes the truggy chassis. Do you like it? The fit and finish are they worth the price? Any complaints ???
