Quick mock up to see how they fit under the beast
Ohhhhhhh, this is sexy
Still need some tuning and probably go back to servo-on-axle setup...

My ''old'' scx10 axles served me well over the past years... They were (and still are) very capable, performant and reliable... But they are fully upgraded too $$$ lol (beeftube, rc4wd chub/lockout, brass knuckles, axial cvd, hd gears, Gearhead upper link mount, lockup panhard,...)

And now:

Steering angle:

VERY excited about this...
Back to a ''servo on axle'' setup... Love that setup... so simple and performant!

Suspension is soooo smooth now, the rig flex as an olympic gymnast
The d44 are also butter smooth, very happy with the axles swapping

New axles, new setup, new tires, new cab, new colour, etc... Can't wait to put this rig back on the rocks

Unfortunatly, i didn't have the time to run it since upgraded... Too little time and too many rigs...
Was very busy with my class1 rigs lately... But i intend to test this bad boy very soon (with pics and videos of course)... still got some setup to do...
But right now, i can tell that the actual setup is wayyyyyy smoother then before... Suspension works better, without any restriction...
As for the steering and general quality, d44 axles don't need ALL the costly upgrades i put on my scx10 axles to get the same steering and bulletproofness... ;)

Will upgrade this thread as soon as i can... Can't wait to put this beast at work...

Finally took the time and spend a lot of time on rocks beating my truggy...
What a beast, I really love the new setup... It perform, flex, everything is butter smooth and a lot of steering angle with the d44 axles...
I really had a blast

Just read through this whole build. Such a great read, and a great truck. I've subscribed to see what you do to it next.
