I hope anyone that can, makes it out to that event at some point. It’s a great time. And yes I think it took us about an hour and 40 to get out there, even less to get home. I have plan to cut down on some rigs. I’ll see how it goes. I drove 5 of the 8. The truggy got dropped on accident and snapped an Amazon link, I wasn’t in the mood to change it and the Capra I brought in case someone needed something to drive. So I really only didn’t drive the Bronco lol

I haven’t made it to crawlers and coffee (which is the same place mostly) as it’s about 3 hours for us but my buddy is near the 74 and Briggs road. I wish I made it down there more or he makes it up here. You are pretty much central crawling terrain.

Once again, not posting much. But I’ve got some stuff going. I was picked up by ecto fab leaf springs as a team driver and there’s lots of cool stuff coming soon from them. I’ll post more as things come to light but they just dropped a full leaf spring class 1 chassis I should get my hands on soon!

I’ve been working on this other build since I got back from by the fire. My rendition of a phoenix. Vs4-10 chassis, F10 portal axles and a vfd out of a pro with 21% odd gears installed. This was meant to be more of a “budget” build but y’all know me. Just painted the coyote body for it today in my typical colors. It ended up on proline toyo RT’s in g8 and some vanquish machetes. It got a mamba x with 1900kv slate motor and a Holmes hobbies shv800 I’ll be running all on 4s.
I originally slapped it together with an origin body just to do a shake down. It should definitely be a pretty good performer now.

Then I picked up a blazer body for my Tf2 so I’m working on swapping that over with some pro44’s then when the ectoplasm c1 chassis shows up I’ll Bob the Mojave bed and put the f10t’s under it

Congrats new Ecto Fab Team Driver!! The more I see their products, the more I like them! One of these days I'm gonna roll my Marlin in the garage and get an order in to Ecto Fab for some suspension items.

Lovin' the look of your new Phoenix VFD. I'm not a big Ford fan, but that body looks awesome! I'm gonna have to give in and get one. These look like great comp bodies!

I’ll update everything I’ve got going on later but today I’m starting a project and I haven’t given myself much time. My buddy is hosting a toys for tots night crawl on the 9th and there is a $500 cash pot for the best Christmas decorated rig. So why not go all
out? Smh I stopped by hobby lobby and grabbed a sleigh. I found a stuff Santa that plays holy night and an elf. I’m going to “borrow” the drivetrain from my 4ws buggy and see what I can’t come up with. I’ll try to get better pics as I go

A great idea for sure!! I can't wait to see what you come up with. Sounds like a great cause with a fun twist to it.

This will be cool and interesting! Curious to see how and what you have planned for the Santa sleigh transformation.

Here’s where I’m at so far, stripped the buggy down and mounted some vs4-10 rails to the skid so I’d have a place to mount shock towers. Going to get some supplies later to mount the not very square sleigh to the chassis

I started over, guess I didn’t need that $15 worth of aluminum to mount this thing. I think it would look much better on the stretched wheelbase with Capra axles but I decided to tear apart a couple trucks and run 4ws with f10 portals and chassis mounted servos front and rear. I had the spare bits to a vs4 chassis I’d given the rails away to so chopped up the front brace/servo mount and went to work. It sits right about 12” wb right now and it’s on some damn near 6 inch tall swampers. I fully expect it to perform terrible but hey, it’s festive right. I just need to mount the mamba esc which I’ll be running it on 4s and a couple of servos to make it function before closing off the chassis a bit. I’ll have to get creative there

Great line!

Build is looking great! The wheel and tire combo fit it well and the wheel color will go great with the theme.

Thanks guys, I’ve got a Santa coming and I have an elf also. Trying to find a decent reindeer turned out to be more difficult that I imagined

Well other than waiting on my Santa to show… I hope it makes it. I’m calling this done. Now just to wait n see what the people think. I ended up adding a trailer to the mix. Made all the presents myself, what a pain to wrap. I’ll let you guys know what happens tomorrow
