Should the front shocks be more upright or straight up and down? Does it matter? Sent from my LM-G710VM using Tapatalk |

| Re: MaX-D's Wroncho Build It isn’t detrimental to the rig functioning, but does affect how the shock performs. I don’t entirely understand the physics/mechanics of it, but that angle should, in effect, soften the spring rate of the coil over. Depending on how you feel about the resulting performance you may want to adjust your shock oil weight

I have noticed that the front end rolls more with the shocks angled too far back. Yours look OK. That is probably fine for a crawler but it was horrible on my mud truck, moving the towers forward made it feel much more stable.

droop is good. I lose about the same as you with mine, but it lowers the COG and my shocks work great.

I also got the Hot Racing aluminum tranny case, Hobbywing 1080 ESC, and the Holmes 550 12t motor installed. The motor has surprisingly good wheel speed on 3s just running on the bench, but the SLOOOOW wheel speed is SOOOO much better than the brushless system I had in there previously. The aluminum tranny is actually smoother than the stock plastic case. Sent from my LM-G710VM using Tapatalk Last edited by MaX-D; 12-29-2020 at 08:53 PM. |

Looks pretty good man. I'm interested to see how it does on the rocks with that awesome frame.

I also have underdrive gears for it , but I'm going to wait to install them. I want to drive the truck with the stock gears first to see how it does, then install the overdrive gears so I can compare. The lights are going in tonight, as well as stickers on the body. The maiden voyage will be this Saturday morning. Sent from my LM-G710VM using Tapatalk | |

Another problem I ran into was I sprayed tint on the windows , but I think it was too humid outside. It looks more like the windows are fogged up instead of tinted. I had some splatter come from the can on the first spray. I knew about that, but it happened anyway. Oh well , it's just a toy truck. As long as I have fun driving it, that's all that matters. A wise man once said, "IT IS FINISHED!" Commence commentary and photo dump. We got lights! Bright as hell!! Beautiful. I picked up this lighting switch to turn the lights on/off by an aux switch on my Spektrum radio. It works great. So easy to set up. It even comes with instructions......imagine that! https://www.amazon.com/Remote-Contro...9554971&sr=8-3 Sent from my LM-G710VM using Tapatalk Lighting controller. Wiring all tidied up.
