No,those are for King Tiger.
They are bigger and a different shape.

Did some more work on the chassis.
Most of the welds are smooth now, gives it a much more scale appearence.
A lot of work, the stainless I used is relatively light but also very hard.
It eats up cuttingdiscs and sandingdrums like cardboard.

Still working on the holes.
The majority of them will be used to bolt or rivet something to the chassis but some will be for performance.
It really brings the weight of the chassis down.
89 so far...

Removed the brushguard from the stinger.
I put it there to protect the lights but after searching the Inet (your hard pressed finding a 1/1 EB in Holland) I realized most Broncos have unprotected offroad lights upfront.
I'm not happy with the winchmount so I will cut off most of it and use the remaining part to attach a new one.

It's going to get a regular finish, powdercoat or paint,no polish.
Although it is very cool looking you mainly see it on showtrucks...
Not the look I want.

Looks awesome. You should come down in May for our Crawl event, it will be held near Darmstadt.

It will stay bare metal untill all parts are built and bought and function properly.
Got alot more work to do on aluminum and lexan chassis parts like a dashboard, fenderwells, floorboard etc.

(And I work quite slowly at the moment because I'm recovering from a trafficaccident I had almost 8 weeks ago so all baremetalfetishists are lucky )

Because we have a lot of water, mud an wet sand around here i added a rear slider.
This will keep the rear of the chassis from sinking into the mud.
And it will eliminate hang-ups on the rear chassisbrace and bumper.

It is also the rear bodymount and i will either make it the base for the fuelcell or a stowage bin for the towstraps to make it look scale.

Got my (soft)tires and wheels in today.
Hopefully the tires are perfect for the mixed/muddy conditions around here.

Awesome chassis, very clean tube work.I love the Bronco bodies,2.2 tires fit perfectly in them. The slingers are great in the mud, even better if you remove all the small lugs.Keep the pics comin, this is going to be a killer when it's done!

Got a question for the people who know everything about Traxxas.
Can you please tell me the EXACT make and model of the transmission and car on the pictures below?

This is the transmission i would like to use.
Its small, pretty beefy and has very wide gears for a relatively small transmission.
If i am not mistaken this a old Traxxas Bandit part?

The motor is just for size reference.

This is the car/buggy it came out of.

It has never been used, something i got in a trade.
A lot of dust though.

Any ideas?
Please tell me.

This truck is a VERY nice piece of handcrafted metal. Do yourself a favor and lose the tranny you found. Get an Axial locked tranny and the thicker motor plate by VF. Wonderful work!

Grimace out.

Damn, I was amassing a supply of stainless. I've not seen any one do a rig out of stainless, I was hopping to be the first. Beautiful work.

Thanks, the Bronco bodies are great.I like the fact that they are a bigger scale than most RC bodies.Makes working on them a lot easier.

Thanks.I always try to use the parts i have.
I'll probably end up buying a rc4wd transmission,though.

Thanks. The only rc chassis out of ss i ever saw before was a monstertruck chassis some guy built here in Holland back in the early 90's.
It never got finished and i can't recall what truck.
I liked the idea of a very durable and tuff chassis.
I'm looking forward to see your work.

Based on the front suspension it looks like it is a Hawk2. The tranny looks like it could be from a Hawk2 or an SRT.

Check out the Parts lists and exploded views here. Traxxas Legacy cars
