I prefer "broken in"

I can't wait to see Mike's thread. That chassis will always have sentimental value.

1 To everything there is a season,
A time for every purpose under heaven:

2 A time to be born, And a time to die;
A time to plant, And a time to pluck up what is planted;

3 A time to kill, And a time to heal;
A time to break down, And a time to build up;

4 A time to weep, And a time to laugh;
A time to mourn, And a time to dance;

5 A time to cast away stones, And a time to gather stones;
A time to embrace, And a time to refrain from embracing;

6 A time to gain, And a time to lose;
A time to keep, And a time to throw away;

7 A time to tear, And a time to sew;
A time to keep silence, And a time to speak;

8 A time to love, And a time to hate;
A time of war, And a time of peace.

And a time to change rigs

Thanks, actually I didn't write that, forgot to add. I thought "hmm since everyone's treating it like a funeral... why not use the verse I hear all the time at it"

I will have a built thread started some time next week. Have a comp tomorrow 10-17-10 so had to get it together fast. I will tear it down and clean it up and start a thread from there.

I prefer broken in as well

last teaser pic tell I have my own thread going.

I love that wheel and tire combo. How'd those tires hook up at nats?

They worked really well. However I think that just about every tire works pretty well in that location.

Ok so I was gonna start my build thread today, but my computer sucks at life right now, I think it needs to make a trip back to the morons at best buy. So my build thread will have to wait another week or so.

I swear I'll get a thread started soon. It especially sucks because I have a lot of pics to down load from the last comp of Mn local season.

Wasn't my best day, but the fastback helped me keep my second place overall finish for 2.2 pro shafty.

Ok thread jack off

Too bad you are not closer, the geek squad is useless and over charge by a TON. I'm a corporate IT slave by trade.

I would not say you are jacking off on my thread, it was my chassis after all. Jack away, just be sure to clean up the mess when you are done

Oddly enough, I was looking at the RS10 section earlier this week. I see people still run them, and took a look through the for sale section to see if I could find one cheap. I don't really know anything about that truck though so I can't really say if this or the Viper would work.

Great thread, like a "the real OG fastback" build should be . Together with Billj's thread it really helped me to build up my FB2 the right way the first time. Thanks.

I am about to update to VP wheels and couldn't find info in your thread about the hubsize you were running. Billj's rig uses 585 DH front and 600 SLW rear, what size hubs were you using ??

I noticed these chassis are not available. Are you guys still building them to sell? and will they work on my AX10 single motor with drive shaft or do they have to be MOA? I would love to have one of these bad boys. When are they going to be available again?
