Good

I think that looks real good considering if he is up against a ton of Moonbuggy/Berg/XR-10's I say just do your best and you never know what happens

Now if he would just post up from that new fangled "i-pad" thingie

Great news CHUD! Can't wait to see what you come up with for the XR10. The Beetlejuice guys already have a prototype for the XR10. I'm trying to decide between the two.

74th overall, I was wanting 75 or better coming out, mission accomplished, and much head pain from tequila and rum last night, off to watch the finals!

Very possible...I'm hoping to get some designing done in the coming weeks, and I'd like to get an F-4 Fastback started. The LCC guys have been asking for a better Fastback option, so that is taking priority right now.

I have deigns started, but prototypes won't be rushed until Richard has his XR-10 up and running. He'll have the first....ok, probably the second

Thanks guys. I had a GREAT time, met so many good people, big thanks to ROCKEDUP RICKY for the hook up on where to get some of the best ribs I have ever had over in Arkansas. I fly home tomorrow, I'm in Tulsa for the night.

There were a few ax10's in the field, Manning got 55th with his FF-4 congrats to him!

Alright Richard. I dont want this to sound negative but considering how accomplished a driver you are, to hear you were hoping for 75th or better has to beg the question. Just how many guys were there? Sounds like an insanely huge field.

101 driver field. Winning localy and doing well at the state level is nothing compared to the talent that is at Nats. One point separated the top 5 2.2 drivers before today's final. 3 at -110 (perfect score) and 2 at -109

It was good to meet you DickyT. It was a fun event for sure. And it was fun beating up on some MOA's....

RickM, one has to earn their way into the event. Either by being top 2 in your state/region, or by way of the Last Chance Qualifier. 76 ran in LCQ, and I believe the top 40 or thereabouts transferred into the show on Saturday. The LCQ was quite the event in itself. The courses were far more difficult than the actual Nats courses IMO.

i guess I was not truly considering the fact that everyone did have to qualify. That being said I am starting to think I might never qualify considering how poorly I did at the first and only comp I did this past spring. Regardless Richard thats a great result and congrats on getting the job done. I really should have come up from Dallas to watch.

Never say never. I'm sure those guys who qualified practice several times a week. You have to put in the time so you know the capabilities of your rig in every conceivable line.

Continue to join comps. That's how you improve by facing tough competition.

Richard- Feeling a little like my comment earlier came out less than encouraging to you, which was definitely not my intention. I sincerely want to give you big attaboys for hitting your goal, as I certainly do realize just how big an accomplishment it is to qualify in the first place. for all 73 guys in front of you and all 26 behind you, there were a bunch of guys like me sitting at home, wishing we were there.
