Since I live in BFE, its not unusual to take a day longer than expected.

It will be about a month before I can afford to order my xr10. Nats put a hurtin' on my wallet. Juan will have something in the works by the time I have kit in hand.

Maybe I'll get lucky and find some money on the ground to speed things up

Donations accepted hahaha

Default MIP drive shafts?

I had a question about the fastback. Did you have to use the shorter dig shaft from MIP or the stock one? Since the tanny is moved forward I was wondering what to order.

I am using a VP dig and stock drive lines for now. Need to upgrade and I figured I better just get what will fit the fastback since that is next on the list.

I use a short mip in the front and a standard in the rear with vp dig. The rear has about 1/4 inch cut off the male half, and the collar is ground back about 3/8 of an inch.

When my XR10 arrived, all I could think about was building the axles, taking apart the fastback, and making Frankenstein. I accually sketched up a new skid plate at lunch the other day.

Thanks Bill and you did fine, those courses were a bit crazy. I am the only one that finished course 1

Bill, Tyler, and I all ran the new rear plate today. I am very impressed. It articulates much smoother in the rear with the rod ends mounted vertically. The end rotates around the ball in it's designed fashion, side to side!

Here are a few pics from the day and the new Underground Crawlers rear four link Duuuuuuuude designed plate, refined by Juan, and for sale soon
