Cutting tools:

The rich, lucky, and most vendors: CNC

Middle class: manual mill/drill

The poor: hacksaws, files, drill

All can turn out nice, it's all in the mind of the person doing the work.

No they pay the first person that offers to make something for them so that they don't have to do it themselves

Nope, not rude at all. I just didn't realize that CNC routers were so prevalent on this board!

Agreed. I noticed that the edges were super crisp in the above pictures hence my question. Looked to be a couple of steps above your run of the mill hand saw job.

Thanks for humoring the new guy gents! I'll keep watching intently

Exclamation Re: -getting back to my roots shafty build-

We actually hand finish all of our carbon parts just to give them the once over and a nice finishing touch.

Oh I'll send you something alright.

We worked out the final kinks with this chassis last night and I will get some good photos posted this weekend.

You weren't supposed to chime in... Oh wait good thing you did... Cause I actually design parts and draw them up and than pay for them whereas you you just pay for them...

Back on topic...

Like I said before, most of the parts for this build I already owned or am making them as I go.

I had a pair of basically new rovers and I have boxes upon boxes of new and used CI double deuce foams.
I picked up another pair of rovers to make a set.

Then I ordered up some rcbros weight holders for wraith knuckles. (You can't go wrong for the price! I was going to make some carbon holders, but choose the easy route due to price point.)

Then I mounted up my tires and foams on my Dlux wheels and then modified the weight holders to accept my Dlux .300 weight rings.

I have 2 full rings on there, which is about 3oz. Per side.

Patience is a virtue.

It will come in time.
If you look closely it is missing parts.
I had it roughly mocked up in that pic.

I refuse to post a pic of a chassis that is missing all the pieces
