She is finally assembled as a roller.

I ended up using...
3/16" 6al4v (grade 5) titanium for the lowers. like the rest of our links.
3/16" 7075 aluminum for the uppers. I had planned to use 1/8" Ti, but I had a little extra aluminum from another job, so I decided to use it up.

The chassis consists of 8 separate pieces.
The lower main chassis plates are 2mm carbon fiber
The upper center brace is made from 2mm carbon fiber
The 4 shock arm/upper link doublers are made from 1/16" carbon fiber.
I am using 6061 3/16" aluminum cross braces like the switch zero.

The shock arms are adjustable.
We wanted to give the end user a little bit of adjustment on the chassis for different shock options or to just raise or lower the vehicle a little while keeping the link geometry the same.(you'll notice the doubler has 1 extra upper link hole to support the change.)

One of the aspects I like most about this chassis is the width of the upper plates.
This was done to eliminate the amount of spacing typically used on a shock.

Onto the pics.

Here you can see the separation of the 3 sideplates and the adjustment holes.

And how she sits at the moment...

Obligatory flex shot.

Not a thread jack at all Matt.

I laughed at your post.

I really like the idea behind the shafty class.
It really puts the rigs more on a level playing field due to the simplicity of the rigs and forces the driver to be more on point.
With an MOA a driver can take a bad line and typically correct or get out of the situation. A shafty isn't so forgiving once you takes bad line.

Thats true. Its amazingwhat we can get away with, with a tuned moa.

I told randy the other day i was thinking bout useing my wraith parts to build a shafty. But its such a fun rig I havent been able to make myself do it.

That chassis is straight up badass looking. Nice work.

With our custom made bender

We have come a long way from the old school methods of hand bent links!!

I really need to make a "stamp of approval" cause this chassis has earned it.

Looks fantastic. You better have one ready to come home with me in March

Thanks fellas.

I am very excited about this one.

I went to pick up all my electronics today and learned the sidewinder micro is on back order for a little while.

Yep.
It's the xr10 bent tierod for vp knuckles.
I have it one hole in on the knuckles, so I had to unthread it a little to fix the toe in.
