Thanks Marc. Ok great all that info helped very much thanks you I really appreciate it and I am currently running stock lockers and am ordering vp lockers but my question was do you think VP xr10 vvd's will work with there lockers and will they fit ? I don't thing why they wouldn't but wanted to get some opinions before I go out and buy 100$ vvd's and not have them work but if they do I'm sure there worth it ! Thanks very much and did you struggle to get the rig the weight it is? I'm going for something extreamly similar and that I hope you don't mind.
Thanks for all the help I hope you don't mind my posts.
-Steven

The should fit just fine.
I don't see why you would need them though.
The stock shafts are much cheaper and get just as much if not more steering.

I didn't struggle to reach this weight.
It was very easy.

I haven't done anything crazy to cut weight other than paying close attention the the parts used.

XR VVDs work fine with the VP lockers. Thats what I have in my El Nino Tres.

Just finished THROWIN mine together last night just to have her runnin by this weekend & not thinkin ONCE about weight, git her at 4.35lbs RTR with a TP 850mAh pack. Chassis alone shaves SO much weight, its not hard to get well under the 5lb mark & sub 4's would be an easy task as well.

If I get the time before the weekend, I'll throw up a build thread but this chassis is snazzy & is workin well right off the bench.

Thanks for all of the support Chaotic!!!

J.D.

No bueno for me.
I changed the rig up the night before the comp and paid for it very badly.

The truck felt ok, but I should have just left it alone instead of totally changing the front suspension.

Paystins rig looked amazing until he broke it on the last course though.
I'm going to try his setup next.

Yes very silly thing to do never change your set up a day or two before a comp
