Spoke to don today on Facebook and purchased my nightmare cf kit w/links chassis. Just want to clarify a few things

Axles -
Front
Derlin extended beef tubes
Xr10 universal axles
Vp wraith knuckles
Vp wraith c-hubs
Overdrive gears

Rear
Derlin extended beef tubes
Xr10 universal axles**
Vp wraith lockouts
Underdrive gears

Electronics

Holmes hobbies puller 500 13.5
Holmes Hobbies TorqueMaster BR Mini RTR

** I believe I'm suppose to use rear xr10 axles but I can't find them do you have a part number ?

Lockers and spools
Will it be okay to use the locked up rc spool or hot racing spool ?

I'll be back with many questions like where did you get the SDI Cvds .

Good list, you don't need the rear beef tubes though. Wraith lockouts with XR shafts is all you'll want. Any spool will also work, lots to choose from. Here's a link to rear shafts.

List for front looks good. As cboggs pointed out, you do not need or want the beef tubes for the rear. Keep your weight bias forward. I am running a discontinued set of RC4WD rear axles originally made for the Wheely King, but if I were to buy new axles, I would definitely give CREEPERBOB a shout.

I'm running a Castle Mamba Micro Pro, but the BR Mini will do you just fine.

I'm running the HR spools front and back.

EverettY hooked me up with the SDI shafts, they were some extras he had lying around. I will say that with the extreme torque placed on the front end when bound up in the rocks, the front SDI shaft came apart on me in two different comps. Maybe I cut it a hair too short (I don't think so), but I now only run the SDI in the back. I went with a Wild Boar WB8 HD shaft with the SSD Steel Male inner shaft in front.
And feel free to ask as many questions as you like, I'm happy to help in any way I can.

Which w king shafts work? Do you have to cut / grind them down.

Sorry, they've been discontinued so long I can't even find numbers for them. They did not need to be altered, though.

I agree with keeping the weight bias forward and I started focusing on loosing rear axle weight about a year ago. If you want some lockouts and axles I have a few sets laying around. I have switched to something lighter. Here are some pictures of before and after.

It is extremely stable, nimble, and easy to drive. In short, I LOVE mine, you'll be glad you got it.
