Put almost a whole pack through mine, on rocks by the beach. Didn't break anything and tuned the RR slipper clutch. Got back and changed the shock oil, as was still too thick.

Proline Pro-Spec shocks

15wt front, extra soft blue springs
20wt rear with red hard springs

After waiting for replacement parts, and getting it back together...
Anxious to get a pack in, railed it full speed into a curb at night after a 90ft pedal mash thru an empty field
Busted link ends and ripped the savox steering servo from its mounting tabs.
The chime of a titanium link skipping across the street is quite unforgettable-
Aluminum case servo for the replacement.

The joys of RC

Been there. Dirt road full speed straight in to a cinder block, 2 minutes after getting it put back together

Man that F9 axle looks good. I can't imagine digging dirt out of those tiny tiny screws that face forward. Not sure what you do when the head of a 1.5mm shcs gets smashed?

Hi,
great buggy and nice wheels, please could you tell me what make and style they are? I think my buggy could do with a bit more track for side slope stability...
thank you

Whoa! Those are awesome. Like the mounting options and buried rod end. Didn't someone make this out of stainless a while back?

Those are ProLine Faultline 6 lugs. I have 2 sets of these and they're great. Cheap, light, strong, easy to mount tires, SLW compatible, can't beat 'em.

I really like what Bilinvic did to move his spare tire forward while keeping the original look. My version is not as clean; but, eventually I will rework it.

The end result moved the tire about 1" forward and about a 1/2" higher. These measurements could be changed with different bracket. Steeps are much more fun now that the spare isn't getting hung up.

Random info: The bolt for the spare tire quick release spinner is metric 3M. This size cannot be found at Lowes or Home Depot in a long enough length. I had to use a specialty nut/bolt store for this. If you want to use the same size as the axle and keep an extra nylon nut on board, it's a metric 4M.

Moved up and forward and kept the quick release spinner in play

Went and twisted it up real good after work, broke a servo horn, bashed the body up pretty good and have an intermittent glitch on the steering now Oh well because I got about an hour and a half of good thrashing on it! Oh also picked up some shock oil and an alumiunum clamping servo horn from the lhs as these King stockers leak like hell.

*images show up orientated properly on my iphone but not on pc. Weird.

Replaced the TSX45 steering servo with a TSX55.
Quick test with a 5300 Nimh battery.

Great to have it working again, hope we can have some fun with it over the Easter weekend.
