Installed the HH PP3500kv. The motor definitely has some strong magnets, the drag brake is much stronger than the Tekin 17.5T that I initially had in. Speed is prefect now, low speed is really good. It does like to roll over at any speed over crawling so I'm thinking it'll get lowered and add some .475 SLW hubs soon.

Quick videos from trying out the motor at lunch today.

Replaced the stock foams with Crawler Innovation Deuces Wild foams today. Much better now. Quick little video to compare the 2 foams. That stock foam really folds over.

Added a fuel line, remote reservoir lines, and a radiator.

Finally replaced my worn out Deans. Two and half years of use, hundreds and hundreds of connections made. The spring broke off weeks ago, random ESC resets finally got annoying

Nothing big, starting to overhaul after summer use.
Never liked how much dirt would stick on the shock pistons and compromise the seal..

I installed some lights. Then I went for a test run/walk down to the lake. Later on this evening I'll test the light out.

Do you know that's not a real Deans? Real Deans suck because there's no ridges or anything to get grip on. It looks like you have the T-plugs from HobbyKing. They have a new version that are even better. I recommend those are the Star plugs from Hobbico.

T Style Connector Male/Female with Insulating Caps (10 pairs)

I finished my Bomber yesterday and today I drove it on 3S for the first time. It's too fast for a trail run, but it's great to bash around in my backyard. So fun. This truck has got me so anxious to get out on the trail.

Next up is a front light bar, rear U4 light bar, fuel hose, and shock reservoir tubes. I just can't decide which lights I like best.

Deans XT? That's a new one to me. Got a link? I can't find anything showing official Deans plugs with ridges or I would have been buying them.

Brother and I did our first G6 today and have to say if you ever get a chance to make one, do it!
Thanks to Parker and Josh for a great experience.
Came home with the veteran"s driver of the day which I will rack up as beginner's luck.

The internet says they're fake I bought them years ago at a local shop, definitely in a Deans package.

I've been debating a switch to ec5 or xt connectors. I currently use deans on everything, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6s.

I use the HobbyKing ones that look like the ones you're using. There's nothing wrong with them. I prefer them over the genuine Deans. Deans plugs are a horrible, outdated design that's difficult to use. Good luck pulling them apart out on the trail with muddy, sweaty hands without grabbing some wire for grip. That's why I recommend the HobbyKing plugs with the grips the new version is even better.

XT60 plugs are amazing. They're my favorite plug, but I'm too vested in Deans/T-plugs to switch now.

I bent one of my front, lower links. Not a good "what I did to my Bomber today". I'm not sure how I did it, but the link is scratched and gouged right where it bent so I'm guessing I landed on top of a rock while jumping.

I thought about getting ambitious and wiring the lights correctly (red brake, blue flashing, amber constant) but I'm going to just let them all flash in unison for now

Plugging away on the roof. $10 cookie sheet should yield 6 .035" panels. Still waiting for my light, eBay doesn't seem to provide tracking on "international" shipping

Nice, the front of the roof panel is wide enough to mount the black beauty light?

Btw, I mall crawled my Bomber all over the apartment complex today. Lots of concrete cuttings and flowerbeds were traversed.

The light is supposed to be 5.7" wide, that will be a bit wider than the roof. Hoping to mount 10mm or so down the A pillar with the roof for some protection.

There aren't many pictures of the bar mounted to anything that I'm familiar with. One pic perfectly across the top cage screws on a Yeti XL... but I don't have a Yeti to measure.

Shipping is "expected by the 25th" so we'll see how that goes.
