Really great build. I really like the gold accents that I might use a paint pen for mine. Also one thing to note, TS paints really crack easily from my Wraith experience. If you do end up using TS, just back it with PS type paint to prevent cracking. Again great build and detail.

Installed the rx and mocked up the esc but the interior is in paint so I couldn't test fit it just yet.

Damn, the weekend is over.

Quick question on the monster X when it comes to programming. Does it need to be installed in the rig and everything hooked up or can I just bring the esc to the computer?

Quick test panel I did. Flipped the color from the previous panel and used the TS plastic paint. I'll be bending and flexing the crap out of it later today. Think I like the first panel better but not sure...

Currently in paint. Shoulda planned my cutting/coloring better. Gna have to do more cutting of the liquid mask and more black in time. If you can picture it, blue gloves lil black gun metal seats so far. Loving the liquid mask. Wish I would've found this stuff when painting my model cars!!

Should've used the liquid mask on these but came out ok with the paint pen. Under side of the fuel cell and the spur cover.

Did another full size test panel with the plastic paint backed with poly paint and flexed the crap out of it.
I think it'll work. If it flexes this much on the rig I did something really crazy!!hahaha

For the interior are you using regular spray paint and masking it off or hand brushing it?

Sprayed the whole thing with a few coats of liquid mask to start. Then I cut and peeled the sections I want to paint, let it dry, cut and peel for the next color. It's pretty tedious and time consuming but with a fresh exacting blade it's not too bad. I'm using polycarbonate spray paints.
