!!!!!WOOOOOHOOOOOO!!!!!
BUXOM MELONS brings it home baby.

With her 5th straight Class 3 win she passed the leader for the series win!

I didn't make it to the first comp and I got a DNF in the 2nd comp. Everyone did so bad that I stated the series way behind the leaders... but with 6 wins straight, Buxom Melons wins the season!

Thanks guys...
I'm really excited to do the transmission swap!
I do realize that it may not work out but I think it should improve Melons COG.

I didn't take many pics of our last event but I did run across this one... it's kinda funny lookin.

yup

No one took pics this time... only video.
The clips I have didn't turn out great. I need to get Rick's video! I should be able to edit something together from it.

I've tried to upload your C2 run but it hasn't worked... I'll try again today.

Buxom Melons will be running Class 2 this season!
I really don't want to change her up that much...
I swapped out the trans for a RRP loaded Axial.
I just bought a used VP dig, which will not be used during comps.
I might bring the rear axle in a little... maybe .25" (Like I said, I don't want to change her up that much)
The front axle will stay exactly as is.
and... she'll need 4.75" tires.

Last night I decided to try my hand at a Cut N Shut TSL!
Our club voted to allow Cut N Shut in Class 2.
I figured if it goes horribly wrong... I can find a single TSL to replace it.

I wanted to keep 2.2" wheels on her, I think they look better than 1.9" with this body.
So I kept the lower side walls and cut out a .25" ring... I may need to shave off another .125"
I tried to keep it even but it was really difficult!

I'll keep ya posted

Better because that looks like a lot of work to have it fail!

Well, it almost worked

One side came out great... the other side, not so much.
It ended up being .125" short on one side.
I can live with it.
I need to patch it where the tread meets up... I didn't do a great job with that part.

If it holds together, I will do the other 3 though.
I love the look of these!

And, they are 4.75" exactly

I think the next 3 will go much faster now that I made it through the first one.

I also ordered some BSI IC2000 glue, the CA glue I used is for tires but it seems a little crispy, the BSI is supposed to be very pliable.

Probably a good idea! Especially given that you are doing cut and shut on the sidewalls where there will be a lot of flex on Ms. Buxom Melons who is um, curvaceous

She's been dieting during our season break, no more Summit trans

But yeah, the side wall. I keep imaging it tearing during a comp.
I want to get a set of 1.9 IROK's as back up...
