I need to put lights on mine and finish up three wraith's and my wife is about to pull the trigger on a G6 (that she is building). I have a lot of work cut out for me.
Thank you. The name just came to me one day out of the blue.

You certainly have your work cut out. I'll look forward to seeing photos particularly the G6.

Thank you. I built a similar one for my Wrangler Rubicon. However, I'm planning something slightly different for my G6 build.

Thank you once again for commenting.

I went to Arroyo Seco on Monday. It was a holiday for me. I started by across from the high school. There was a lot of moss in the lower creek. It wasn't until I got up to the first bridge that there no moss due to the horse crossings.

The Vasquez Rocks GTG is coming up.

Great! I figured you had to work. Plus I had things to do before heading out.

Well, here's the video of City Slicker taking a dip. It looks better in full screen mode.

That's a beautiful man! On question tho... do you have problems with the currie axles hanging on the rocks?

Thank you. As far as the Curries clear rocks there's no noticeable difference than the stock ones.

I was standing a good 15 feet from the center of the creek and it was hard to see any rocks so I just punched it and tried to keep it going straight.

Battery Holder:

I started with a piece of aluminum.

"The first cut is the deepest", but in this case it was the longest. I had to stop and take a break, so I snapped a photo. Hacksaw Reynolds I'm not ...

In the most simplest form, this would be a battery holder. The only thing I would do is replace the self tapping screws with a screw and nylon locking nut. However, I couldn't stop here and took it a few steps further.

I added a couple of bends.

I bolted the battery holder onto the plate and added some brackets.

And here is my battery holder.

Side view.

I like the way it came out and that it sits kind of low.
Did you find the aluminum piece at your local hobby shop, or at another place? I love this idea and I would like to create one for my rig

Thank you. Yes, I bought the aluminum at the local Ace Hardware.

Your welcome. I think you have a better chance at a True Value then the big DIY stores. Good luck shopping around.

I finally received my Tekin Hotwire 2. However, the cable it comes with is a USB/mini USB, so I had to buy an adapter because I could not find a cable with a mini USB and micro USB male end.

I bought this adapter. I like it because it has a cover for protection and it's small.

I also bought a spare just in case.

So with my adapters in hand, I was able to use my Samsung Galaxy phone to change ESC settings. I also tried using my Google Nexus 7 Tablet, but it wouldn't work with the tablet.

First thing I did was set the internal BEC to 7.4v. Then I reversed the motor so I don't have to use the REV on the radio.

The Hotwire2 makes it easy to change ESC settings. It's a lot better then pressing the small buttons and counting the LED lights or even trying to remember how many LED lights have to be on for a particular setting.

Thank you. Just needed to make some adjustments on the ESC.

Tonight I'll be able to do some work on my Jeep G6. I go to the gym on Tuesdays and Thursday and I don't need to mow the lawn, so I'm free to work on my G6. If you haven't seen it, check it out here.

Thanks again.

A Jeep G6 will compliment your Wraith nicely. I've seen what you have done with your Wraith.

I'll look forward to seeing your G6 build.
