I've already upgraded to metal Junfac drive shafts so adding an ESC to the order when I get a BEC should probably be a no brainer... may as well do it all in one hit while I have the chance huh!!! This way I have the choice of 2s or 3s lipo's. Any particular lipos to buy... or stay away from??? As for setting the voltage on the BEC.. if I buy thru HH and get him to set the voltage, do I just get it set to the maximum that the servo will take, ie 7.4v??

If you are buying into Lipos, remember that you will need a lipo capable charger and balancer. The Onyx 245 is a great starter charger that can charge/balance up to 2 lipos at the same time and is fairly user friendly.

My 2s batteries consists of ROC 5000mah, C K R C 5200 mah Punch Pack, Turnigy nano Tech 4200 man. All of them seen to do well. My 3s batteries are Thunder Power G6 and Turnigy nano tech. Both seen to be fine. I would set the BEC at 6 volts, maybe 6.5 and not max out, but that's me.
