@Naz-T, spare bearing set on hand for all the water you do? Tire foams must be about done by now too...doesn't look like the Trepadors have excess fold under or squish on the rocks though?

Most of Dudleys outings have been up Big or Little Cottonwood canyons, on the east side of the Salt Lake valley

I do carry a couple spare bearings, but have yet to replace any. I'm only going to replace them if they blow up or seize up. As of yet I haven't had any noticeable bearing issues (I haven't really checked them though)

Foams are about toast, and do roll under quite a bit when turning. They hold okay when it's just sitting (a stock rig is pretty light). I did take a leather punch and punched a few holes around the tire so they shed the water pretty good by just driving.

Yep left the limiters on the shocks. If you take out the front limiters the steering starts to hinder flex to one side more than the other. And adding more flex to the rear makes the rig less stable (at least that was my findings on my previous SCX10's) So for Dudley I just left the shocks stock. At this point I doubt that there is any oil left in the shocks though.

The adventure continues!! This time Dudley traveled out of state, to Idaho.

The wife and I were heading up to Twin Falls, Id for some "quality time" with the plan of taking the scenic route home past City of Rocks. I turned out to be a great day saw some really cool sights and although I didn't log much drive time, City of Rocks was a fantastic stop for Dudley.

I only logged .75 of a mile in distance, but in an incredibly beautiful place on amazing terrain. I would love to come back and spend a weekend exploring more of this area.

Time to rack up some miles!!

This trail run a group of us hit up Rad Pine trail up Big Cottonwood canyon.

Red Pine Lake is a 7.3 mile out and back trail located near Sandy, Utah that features a great forest setting. The trail is primarily used for hiking and is accessible from June until October. (Trail info taken from alltrails.com)

We had a good sized group that made the long journey which made for a lot of fun chatting and playing on the hard lines as we made our way up the trail. Puffer even brought his Blackjack 9 to play with on the lake.

I installed the Head and Taillights a few weeks ago but I kept forgetting to install the servo extension to plug them in
So this was the first trip with them actually working

Dudley made it out to run in the 801rcc event "Elevated Chaos" held at Bald Mtn. in the high Uintas to log some drive time and fun.

The event consisted of a .75 mile course though some pretty challenging terrain, and a good amount of fun crawling (ran another .75 mile fun crawling) after the event. It was great to get out with a big group and play. We spent a on of time just hanging out on course shoot'n the breeze with fellow scalers. Made for a great weekend

Great thread and pics. I took a "burnout" break from rc, but looking to get back into it, and sure seems like the Deadbolt is a good way to go. Few q's for you:

1. Are you running 2s or 3s through the system?
2. I noted you said this was an almost useable slipper (compared to the first gen Axial slippers). So, wondering if you have been using it and your thoughts?
3. Crack open the tranny or axles to check on wear yet?

Sorry if I missed any of the above in previous posts. Got distracted by the scenery !

Honestly,... No. I had it slip once and I just locked it down after that. No issues since.

I haven't touched the axles at this point. I did have an idler gear failure at one of the Bald mtn fun crawl sessions (looks like I forgot to list it )
