Left front stub axle. You definitely missed it, there's a pic of it with the G6 trophy.

And I'm sure I'd have busted two Pro-Line Powerstrokes if they were mounted on the front of the arm in single shear instead of in the arm in double shear.

You'd never know until you try.

Run a longer screw with a ball end between the double shear.

I just used a long screw. Mine has been running countless hours like that. I do wish there was a way to double shear the mount but it really hasnt been an issue other than the shock rod end and mounting bolt head getting a little beat up. Ill take that over broken drive shafts.

Jason, would you mind sharing a photo of the passenger side wheel well, near where the cage bolts to the skid? I'm having problems with interference between the cage and servo horn there and am curious how you avoided it.

I just used an Axial aluminum servo with a button head screw. Put the linkage on the back side.

Is that a 7950? With the same servo I get about 2 mm of interference between the axial horn and frame. I think I must have mounted the wraith skid a little bit more forward than you did.

You must have done something odd. Mine looks the same as Jason's
Just touches the screw for the cage.

7980, which is larger than the 7950. I used the stock location for the rear servo mount screw, drilled a new hole for the front servo mount screw, and cut a pocket in the aluminum front chassis brace so the servo would fit in the stock location.

You didn't use the stock axial wrap around servo mount that comes with the exo then, I assume. I tried that with a 7980. Did you just use after-market aluminum servo mounts?

Finally realized what I did to cause clearance issues with the servo horn. The wraith skid is about 1/8" off center. I was so obsessed with it being a servo placement issue it never occurred to me.

Measure twice.

Then measure again.

Honestly, I cut the Exo chassis to length (72mm behind the Exo spur gear slot, if I remember right) and visually center the Exo chassis/Wraith skid. I clamp them together and drill the four transmission mount holes, run a 3mm screw and nut through them, then drill four more (new) holes through the Wraith skid/Exo chassis in the corners. You'll see round extractor pin marks in the Wraith skid, just drill there.

The Exo chassis tapers so if you don't pay attention and only line up of one side of the Exo chassis parallel along the side of the Wraith skid that 1/8" off thing can happen.

Yeah, that's pretty much what I did too. Just screwed up the measure twice part. I'll order another Exo plate today. Meanwhile, I've got the front end mostly done.

Did you notice a lot of up/down wiggle on the axial steering rack when mounted on the aftermarket bell cranks? Mine wobbles all over the bearings now.
