Nice work. This is such a great hobby. You have taken allot of time to make this wrexo a true custom one of a kind rig.

Your rig looks even better than when I saw it. Hope you get to sit back and enjoy it soon.

Just got an email from Neal at FreqEskinz. Skins are done and - a complete surprise - he even had a matching pit mat with all the sponsor/manufacturer logos made for me.

How bad-ass is that?

Contact Neal at FreqESkins for more info.

Hit him up at his website: http://www.freqeskinz.com

Well I finally jumped through all their hoops for the insurance claim part. They approved it, but held off on paying so they could look further into it. Now they say they have the package and it has been in guam the whole time. Even though I took the box to them and they weighed it, they say i didn't pay enough to ship so they stuffed it in a corner and forgot about it. It is supposedly on its way now, but i am going back out to work this week. Don't know if it will get here before I leave and or if everything is still in the box. Time will tell. Hopefully it comes and is all there.

What freakin' mess.

I'd say "at least it's safe" but that just wouldn't work.

How could they say you didn't pay enough when you were AT the P.O.?

Crazy.

Yup, gotta love Neal's work. Dude can do what others say is impossible.

The * had to be there. You know that.

It's on the skins, too!

Just went through this whole thread. Man this is one hell of a rig. Two thumbs up. I think I want to try and use the exo chassis sides like you did. I'll be keeping the solid front axle though. I've been wanting to do something with the Wraith and I think this is it. Are the side pieces the only thing you need from the exo? I'll have to go back and look at the pictures some more.

I think he's going to sell a lot of those pit mats. Awesome idea.

I built a solid axle rig with the rear converted. Parts list and images are here: Solid axle Ultra4 build

The pit mat is cool. I wasn't expecting it at all.

Nice rig, I took your idea and made my own using a 4x4 slash front pod. What a great upgrade, thanks for the great build and pics.

I do it all by eye.

rubiconrockcrawler made a drill guide for me but I'm still more accurate doing it by hand.

I found theres a small hole in pretty much all the tubes, just use your Xacto in the center and you will find it Which leads me to a joke

Umm is this about done Yet Jason or what???

We've been out of town the past few weeks taking care of some family matters so that's why I stopped working on things. Now that we're back home it's time to get going again.

All of the mail that was on hold while we were gone was delivered today.

From FreqEskinz...

Big pit/work mat with all the vendors/sponsors/manufacturers of products used on the rig. Neal surprised me with this. Pretty FreqEn awesome!

Other extras Neal tossed in...

A True Light accent pack...

...and a Race Day accent pack.

There was also a full aluminum Wraith interior wrap in the box. Not 100% sure I'll use this. Will have to see how the wrap works with the Overkill RC switch panel.

Now...the skins.

These things are crisp! detail is sharp, color is awesome, and they're precut so all that's left for me to do is not fawk up installing them on the panels.

Now to get some work done.
