So as of right now, I'm awaiting a Tekin RX8, VP V2(5mm) stub shafts, and looking for a new rotor..

The plus side, the drive train itself is holding up great! The Dlux modded axles with the 16mm bearing are definitely the key to holding the axles together. I would have went thru 3 sets of stock housings by now, without the bigger bearing..

If they would just build parts a little better, things wouldn't get so crunchy every time I run it! ;)

VP is the shit! Not only do the V2's come 5mm threads but they come with fresh holes for a minimum of 3 rebuilds!! These things are sexy!

All built and ready!

And just when I was sick of running my sins wraith around when I wanted speed, without beating my scx xj up.. The new rotor showed yesterday.
So the motor is back together and mounted to the trans. Now if only I could figure out were I put the pinion and gear cover..

Solder the wires on the new, to me, RX8 and I'm ready to get some land speed recordings, to check a top speed on this monster! After that, I'm goin to go thrash them new V2 stub shafts..

I haven't had a chance to get the RX8 wired up yet and head back out.
Till the rotor showed up, I was getting my chimp rigs ready for Battle Ground's..
But I have a couple weeks off till the next comp, so I'll be getting it back together shortly and it for some speed runs and dirt pounding!

Keep rebuilding, they eventually stay together! For long enough to get a full pack our weekend in.. ;)

Got the new rotor in and the RX8.. Half a pack later, blew up the Pro4.. So she sat for a bit..

Then I dropped my HH Trailmaster BL 3100kv in and over geared it..
Ran out a month ago and Friday night, on night runs..

Then I got handed a set of mounted U4 doo's! Oh boy oh boy.. Let's tear it up and the chit out of them... Yeah well.. Dlux housing number 2 down and the fresh set of HD 38/13 gears ruined by second pack.. :( the Dlux housing was the modded 16mm V1 housing..

Dlux had changed them to 13mm bearings since.. Lots more meat left in the housing.. Which is what I went with!

I'll get more pics and some thoughts on the U4's..

Well, it's been awhile, but nothing had broke, so nothing changes! Lol...

Well, that might be about to change!
Just picked up a Tekin Pro4 HD 3500kv motor from MotoMudder..
Can't wait to see what kind of speed I can break with this one!

If the motor doesn't do it, I'll break into the cheats...
Anyone got any tips on that for me?:

So Perty!!!!!

In and out on the rocks..

The torque is pretty outstanding with this one!

Haven't got a real chance to get any speeds on it.. Yet..

I'm waiting for a 12t an 13t pinion to show up. I want to get the 12t in to test the speed against the last posted speed of the HH Trailmaster BL..

I did go hang out a little bit with another member and ran it a little and let his little boy(6-7yrs old) run it..

What a blast to watch him grab some throttle and drift the truck and bash it. The smiles on his face where worth anything that might of broke! Happily, nothing did!

Also got some new CI Deuce's Wild foam's for this rig and can't wait to test them out.
If nothing else, they will be s good foam for the Yeti.. Ssshhhh... Don't tell the Sexo...

Not sure how I liked them.. They didn't stay on the scale beadlocks they where mounted to long enough to find out.. Lol..
Now I have a second set of VP wheels, I'll get them mounted up with the U4's and CI Deuce's Wild foam's..
Then I get the RB2's mounted with the CI DW foam's as well.
I'll be able to give them a true side by side test.

I'll be able to run both sets on both the Sexo and the Yeti..

I couldn't get my hands on a Blizzard, so I went the next best route. (I think) lol..

After looking around and weighing my options, I decided, for this year, I only wanted to spend a set amount on snow fun.. 300$ for EVO tracks(one time cost) or 400$ for a Blizzard and then upgrade, drop brushless in, replace parts, stronger servo, etc, etc, etc...
The tracks are more like getting an expensive new set of tires. Lol..

That and they came with scx and wraith mounting parts, as well as regular rock terrain tracks.. (Thanks 1.55 yota)

I'll get some pics posted after I get them mounted and hopefully some video in the snow! (after hunting season ends!) Of course.. ;)
