Well more work done. Shocks built. Though I am not happy with them. Flipped the shock mounting brackets. Started on the cage. The drive shaft is on but the pin still is not locking it in place. I will get more pictures later today.

I have built a number of Associated, Delta, Kyosho, Losi, HPI, Traxxas shocks before. I am not a fan of "Cartridge" shocks. These feel thin, almost as if the pistons are causing the body to bulge. They will do for now.... Still waiting on the servo, should be there today. Got a nice orange servo arm to go with the Savöx servo. Leaning towards orange as a color scheme. cool...I am really liking the gmade Zero 104mm aluminum body shocks I got for my Wraith, so much in fact that I bought a 94mm set for my scx10 Rubicon the ones on the wraith went together easy and so far there are no leaks. I used teflon tape on the plastic lower housing nuts. on your wraith shocks, did the pistons go in easily when dry fit to the housing? some of them need to be lightly sanded to true them up so they will slide in easily. |

Last night I started on electronics installation. Savöx servo installed, I have to solder the deans plug on the motor leads, and get power to the BEC. I have to get the BEC adjusted to 6.0 volts. The cage is not done yet. I hope to test the electronics later today.

OK. I came home from work and sat down to cage work. It is lacking the interior and skins, but I got it assembled. Side View Last edited by DrDiff952; 02-26-2014 at 01:52 AM. |

The shaft should slide all the way to the bearing and actually touch, that looks like what you need to align the pin. Give it a little tap and she will go!

Well I bought an orange double clamping servo horn to go with the orange on the Savöx servo. Then I took it apart and found I had one sTeering servo mount ans one DIG servo mount (mount included in the kit). Here is a pix of the blingy bling. If I can't get this ESC figured out, I will go for a Holms Hobbies Brushed ESC Last edited by DrDiff952; 02-27-2014 at 10:45 PM. |

I am thinking of some front and rear interior trays. Under the hood / inner fender wells. I just don't know the names or where to buy them from.

| TheCrawlSpace sells something for the front called "Da Box" , I believe that's it's name....drops into the front and Is very well made. I had one on my last wraith and think I'm getting one for my new one as well.. and dinky rc makes a rear drop bed for the wraith..that's also pretty nice and useful

Well I was going over the rig and noticed that my servo arm was hitting on the chassis. I took a look at the servo mpunts and went with the smaller ones. Now my steering arm doesn't hit on the chassis.

thats cool...i am changing my fastback links to traxxas revo shafts, the same ones that I used for my lower links..I just couldnt get used to the idea of the spare up there adding weight up high. I got the Da Cover on the back now so it will look much nicer and clean..
