Just let it sit for a bit in the sun and the delrin/rubber/plastic/foam should off-gas just enough to get you under three lbs.

i will use some lighter rims and voodoo next time

Would a straight 1/8" Ti tie rod be lighter than what you're currently using?
the current one is 5x0.5 Ti tubing , itīs still lighter than 1/8" Ti rod

You have heard it before but fantastic fab skills as usual

The smoothness of the double CVD is amazing. I am curious to know the real world effects it has? I have found that the normal tire 'hop/shake' in the universals or single CVD setups can be beneficial in certain situations to allow the truck to hop/shake itself into the position you want. On the other hand we all know it can be hurtful too and is definately hard on gears and bearings. I would think that your setup is more predictable seeing how the tires are staying planted when at WOT full lock.

itīs different to drive , wheels/tires are still unbalanced so shake/hop is still possible by hitting the throttle
a drawing to show the difference with the higher kingpin to kingpin distance > reduced scrub radius

there are pros and cons , i just need to drive some more to see if i like it
