Got a chance to run the BWD's a little bit ago, I'll add some more info on links soon. Thanks for the direction.

I have also been running the Rowdy Racing battery mount, Big Ron Customs battery mount and CC Ti tie-rod. All those will get added soon. Waiting on the new knuckle weights.

Is there any way we can make this thread a sticky? I'm constantly going back and looking for it.

I appreciate the guide. I've seen some pics of popular parts and was unclear of who is producing them.

Everyone, keep in mind, the purpose of a sponsorship program is advertisement. Someone is compensated in return for promoting their brand. Pretty simple business concept. Seems he's compiled a reasonable list for some one starting out with an xr10. And if you look at a compilation of build threads, 95% are using the same parts. Guess everyone has a bias??? don't like it, don't read it.

No problem, I really think it's the easiest option to suggest as it will work with just about any setup.

Added a note about replacing pinion gears. I would put that near the top of the list for needed upgrades especially if going to new gears.

I represent companies that I feel are the top of the industry, I don't want to try and defend a company making parts that don't perform at the top. When I feel there are options worthy of being listed that may even be in direct competition to my sponsors I will post them up if I have personal experience with them. For instance the Hitec servo is listed because I feel it is a fantastic servo for the money.

I would bet Harley would set it up the same way even if they weren't a sponsor.

Added Erik D'lux knuckle weights to the wheel weight section as well as a link to the "cleanest XR10 wiring jobs" thread in first post.
