Looks like the next season will (possibly) have Rallycross, Knoxville dirt track, and the Snetterton tarmac track.

just an FYI the new season 15 of the corvette forum series starts tonight. there doing a cool multiclass gold/silver drivers format this season. fast/gold drivers are in the GT3 cars and the slower/silver drivers in GTE cars gives us slow guys a shot at the win! each do 5 races in each class of cars, then switch. for a total of 10 races for the season. im looking forward to it. gonna even try to practice this season |

I'm with Tommy, I'm in the middle of redoing some things on my setup and can't make it tonight. Maybe by next week I can turn some laps. Trying to get some crap done around here before the cold sets in too, so I can relax and game it up all winter. LOL

Couldn't help but chime in and say that I'm pridefully counting down the days to GT:Sports release on 10/17. It's a shame it won't be made for PC. But if you've conquered every series since the first on the OG PlayStation like myself, you know that GranTurismo and Polyphony Digital have stayed true to Sony all these years.

i won! i won! i won! this new multiclass format is awesome in the CF series. gives us slower class guys a shot! i qualified 1st and i ended up taking the overall win and the silver class drivers win! and you guys are in luck. turns out last nights race was just a test run for the new format, not a points race. so if yall show up next week, it will be the start of the official season/points havnt got to watch the highlights yet, im guessing im not in it much, cause i never really was in any battles for the lead. |

Congrats Cory! You're reward is being promoted to the fast guy class, and going back to getting your ass kicked like I always did. |

yep there is a 1 hour practice session before each race your welcome to join in on. then a 20 minute qual, then the race. go sign up on corvetteforum.com and introduce yourself, they will get you added to the league (a must to join in) there looking for and welcome drivers of all levels. https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...um-series.html |

I've been running the Ferrari 488 GTE at Laguna Seca. My best lap so far is 1:23.195. I'd be interested to see just how far behind I am. |

One week till Project Cars 2 release. I'll be interested to hear the reports from r/simracing from actual purchasers and not pre-release reviews by select people in the sim racing community. If they fix the god awful amount of shit you have to do to get the FFB decent (actually not bad on PC with the tweaker files), fix the feel of the cars at the lateral grip limit, and optimize VR implementation, I'm in for single player offline stuff alone. It's the only sim racing title other than DR that had a legitimate career mode, and that was really enjoyable.

the more reviews that came out the less and less ive been excited about PC2. i loved PC! but the ffb was so bad it was unusable. ive litterly spent months on it in total, 3-4 days in a row at a time tweaking it. even with tweaker files. just ruined an otherwise awesome game. many of the later reviews start to hint thats its more simcade than B level sim. |

Simcade can be fine if it's done well. Dirt Rally was simcade and the group seems to like it. Most reviewers say the cars feel pretty good, and with the dynamic weather and 24hr time cycles mixed with the career mode it will be the only sim to have all those things. But if the FFB and physics suck balls, then yeah, no reason to own it. Time will tell. Yeah, I might be able to do Sunday night, that'll give me time to get my VR sensors re-mounted and finish up.
