OK I will. That's like Raceroom. I love that game with certain cars. And then with others it feels so arcade-y.

Fixed the for you! Every sim has it's problem cars, none are immune to it, even iRacing has cars that are pure shit to drive or missing features that the real car actually has. I'm looking at you C6r. Shhh, don't tell Cory.

Very true!
BTW why is Raceroom called R3E? I never understood that.

Yeah, took me a bit to figure that out too.

And, guess what's coming to R3E Cory?

The car looks great. At some point, probably this winter when I'm stuck inside and bored, I'm going to buy all of the R3E content. I think it's around $120.

Yep, and I like the Vettes MUCH better in R3E than in iRacing.

$65 if you go the route I did thanks to a Reddit user in /r/simracing.

Just go to this link, buy the 10,000 VRP pack, and you can buy the premium pack in game and have 1 VRP left over.

$65?! That's less than half price! Sweet. I'm going to jump on that tonight before they change it! Thanks for the tip!

Yeah, I'm excited about that car, even if it is an overseas GT car.

I guess nobody watched the other two videos one page back? LOL

I still say they have the best sounds of all of them that I own, and for me at least with their FFB setup in VR combined with my rig and bass shaker, the best overall immersion.

I just watched the X-Bow video. I love that car in Assetto Corsa. I really like AC myself. It seems to skew past sim and into arcade. I like that you can save the car from a spin though. Some games or sims it's impossible.

It's really hard to judge a car's handling in a sim when you haven't driven that car in real life. But it's nice to see him say the car is similar in both games. If sims were, indeed, simulations they would all have the exact same physics and all cars and tracks would feel identical in all of them.

That guy is funny. I'll have to check out more of his videos.

I was checking out Rift again. The price is back up to $500 for the combo. I thought the price drop to $400 was permanent.

R3D is getting Sepang this weekend. I bought the VR points to buy the Premium pack, but I might hold off until Sepang is released so that I also get that in the pack and I don't have to buy it separately. Fingers crossed.

The Rift is still $399, the price drop was permanent. The touch controllers and extra sensor are an additional $99. That price for the combo was only for the summer sale. Keep in mind this used to be $800 for both.

Oh I was thinking the combo was $399. I don't know that I'd use the touch controllers for anything.

I went ahead and bought the R3E Premium pack last night. It should give me some entertainment in the upcoming winter months.

I also bought Road Atlanta in preparation for next week's race. I see a lot of spinouts in that race. There are a lot of places where the suspension gets unloaded and you have to feather the throttle or you're going to eat it. The VRS tune also seems loose. Should be interesting.

I love Road Atlanta. Unfortunately, no sim racing for a bit for me. I went down HARD on the MTB at about 25mph, knee feels like somebody hit it with a sledgehammer when I move it, hip is starting to hurt too. Rolling out of bed is gonna be fun in the morning.
