If you airbrush the mask on, that’s good for 3 or 4.

If brushing a couple. A cheap harbor freight touch up gun is perfect for mask.

It will dry much quicker and even

Good point, been messing around brushing it on. Like the touch up gun idea better. + good primer coat. Prefer to keep the air bush for top coat.

Thanks

Tho, I think it would have been better blue, as opposed to purple.

Thanks. My last box (top and bottom cabinets) was blue with a red locker on the right side. Saw this color combination and couldn’t pass it up. Probably doesn’t help that my Snap-on dealer knows I like purple seeing how he told me about this set up before anyone else got a chance to see it.

If I had a work area...actually, if I had a garage (currently 'stuck' with a carport...lol)...I'd love to have a set-up like that. I'm just not all that into purple...but, I do REALLY like black & blue. In the meantime, my trusty Target folding 2ft x 4ft adjustable-height table, the coffee table in the living room, and the bed (yes, sometimes I actually set up my "workstation" on the bed), will have to do.

The latest additions for my Capra...Yeah Racing Desert Lizard internal spring shocks, and a bunch of M3 nylock nuts (ok, so the nylock nuts will be used on multiple vehicles).
Have to admit, these shocks are a little "unusual". I just opened one of the boxes, to get a 'quick peek', and discovered that the shock caps are on the bottom, as in, the ONLY shock body opening is on the bottom. Instead of filling work oil from the top, as every shock I've ever filled is done, you hold these upside-down, and fill from the bottom. Like I said, "unusual".

I don’t have pics but a used wraith cage, ssd wide axle and a long discontinued conversion just came in the mail. Will create a build thread when it’s further along

Also picked up 2kg of filament and some graph paper for a build that I will be starting hopefully soon

Well after retiring from off-road racing 25 years ago, I got bit by the bug again! Hoping to get it built in time to do some indoor racing this winter.

Not much for $70 but should keep me busy. 3/8 and 1/2” breaker bars and one of those floppy ratchets. Should have my Tacoma tranny on deck tomorrow morning and hopefully back on by dark with a new clutch.

Don’t print the Dog......... it’s a 10 hour print, and you won’t have enough filament.
I just got a CR20Pro for $299,
With the auto level I’m shocked how easy this one was!
Yes I already had a good Cura Profile, and it works well. I’ve had great luck with 4.0, but failed with 4.4..... ?????

No clue why.

It took me a long time to get consistent prints, now, slice, load, print.
I run Octoprint on both printers, makes testing quicker.

I skipped past the dog and cat and printed the pig. The pig took 6 hours, but it looks really good for my first ever print. I bought a spool of Overture black PLA to practice with, so I’ve got plenty to work with for now.

I’m a newb at this 3D printing, so everything you just mentioned just flew right over my head.

Tomorrow I plan on digging a little deeper into learning the software and printing some upgrades for the printer that I found on Thingiverse.

New project just rolled into the shop!

Well, not purchased, but received as a Christmas gift.

These seemed to be one of the latest build crazes!

Picked these up today, bought them for a R/C project I just started, but can use most of this on plastic model projects too

Also got this in the mail, it's just some inanimate carbon rod for the same project and why I bought the baby chop saw, figured that I may want to make a couple and that saw would be a whole lot quicker and cleaner than an X-Acto saw and Mitre Box set
