Cool purchase. I've been wanting to build a semi myself, but I doubt I'd use it much.

Thanks, that what I was thinking.
I’m not sure I have a use, But it looks like a fun build, and as I bought parts correctly, I will have less than $900.00 in this including all options and extras, including the modified 6channel stick radio.

I ordered a new laptop directly from hp yesterday. They were having a really good sale and got an expensive laptop for about half price!

15inch screen, i7, 16gb ram with 1tb hard drive.

Now the bad news..... it won’t be here for a month! So I’m stuck borrowing my parents computer since my old laptop took a dump

Postman just left 5.5 KG of assorted copper here at my place, he did not like me telling him my next parcel from Alphacool will probably be heavier.

2 Radiators, of the dual 140 mm kind.

And a assortment of HT ( Hard Tube ) fittings ( 16 mm )

The ability for moving heat in the final build will be far more then the actual hardware i have, so this mean i should be able to run (fans) at a low noise level ( RPM )

Its just 12 / 24 core CPU + 5700 XT GFX card, and the setup would easy handle two 64 / 128 core CPU's )

Remember i still need to buy two triple 120 mm Radiators.

Right now in the TEMP setup i am cooling the CPU with a dual 120 mm rad, and that work fine at a lower noise level too.

Are those “hard fittings” like our AN style?

Not sure what you mean / not familiar with the "AN", My fittings are meant for using hard acrylic / copper / glass or other material pipes instead of the good old plastic hose.

I will be using 16 mm OD acrylic pipe ( 13 mm ID )

I was going to use copper pipe too, but i figure even without that my computer when done will be pushing 40 kilos, and even with me adding wheels under it, then i better try to keep it as light as possible, though i don't move it around much or like go to LAN parties ASO.

But i am going to move out of this apartment sooner or later, and i am not good at asking people for help,,,,, also don't have many i can ask as i am pretty picky about the people i "surround" myself with.

I went to a gun show today. Nobody had any of those loopholes that I keep hearing about. On the way home I stopped at a local gun shop and this followed me home.

Got more steel yesterday, and paid my buddy to put it and the DOM from a couple months ago all together. You can almost see the tubing under the truck. 2x3" 1/4" wall and 1.25" square 3/16" wall.

.

AN fittings are what we use to fasten liquid, pressure carrying lines, usually braided stainless, but nylon and carbon are also used. AN are Alloy and CNC made. AN stands for “army / navy as these fittings were designed for military aerospace use and seal at 37*

Yeah i found that myself, cuz of course i had to figure out what it was.
But its not quite the same.
The PC water cooling fittings made for use with hose, but still with a screw on "lock" are more along those lines.

I assume, i come from the old school fittings where you had to lock the hose with something, and i have used Zip ties for many years as alternatives are much larger.

Not sure how much pressure these fittings can handle, but my radiators are pressure tested, but not to really high pressures, they are after all pure copper so too much pressure i assume would make it swell up like a dying lipo battery.

At full tilt my pump will do 1500 L/h, ( 396 gal/h ) down the line i think i will split up the cooling and do 2 pumps on a shared reservoir, some people do 2 complete separated loops with different color cooling fluid, i am not going that way.

Have 2 pinch points ( CPU head & GPU head ) can be problematic of course, but the ones i use are not that restrictive, so i think i will be good.
I know what temperatures i have now with must the CPU water cooled and the GFX with its not bad stock air cooler, and if my temperatures are not better than that i will have to reconfigure my setup.

I bought this today, will bring it home Friday if it's not raining. This is a graduation gift to myself. I've been wanting one for over 30 years. It's a 1989 same year as I graduated.
