I have an interior made for the proline cherokee. So it is a 2d, 4 seat. If I cut the area behind the back seats and drop it down does it count as a drop bed, or only suv/cargo area?

What constitutes a full interior? Dash, seats, steering wheel, floor, what else is required?

Complete Bruiser interior ok?

Clarification please.

To get the full points for a 3d interior it must be full depth with a floor, have a dash, steering wheel, and two seats. Anything else will get 2d -1 points. Only way to keep it fair.

If a Bruiser interior meets those requirements above then it gets -3. I haven't been into Bruisers enough to know exactly what that is .

It matches your description other than it has a molded in bench seat. Speaking of, what about people who have bench seats in a std cab truck? Especially if it was say a replica of their 1:1 rig and it had a bench seat? Not trying to stir the pot, just wondering on screen

a bench seat has 2 or more seating positions. it should be counted as the needed 2 seats..

I have a couple questions
Would the section behind the seats be counted as a SUV cargo area?

I'm guessing I would need to cover these electronics or are they OK?

Would this count as an integrated shock mount?

Thanks!

I'd say SUV cargo area if it's under a roof or cage. The rest of the RC might have other opinions, but generally a drop bed is outside the cab.

Maybe a tiny little cheater cargo area Yeah, I'd give it to ya.

I think the electronics are fine. The rule was meant to prevent exposed motors and transmissions in the seating area, not to eliminate every trace of RC-ness.

But that's not a shock mount. That's a shock screwed to the frame rail.

Ok, cargo area and shock mount I can concur on and I don't think anyone will argue that but Ben, Aaron, or Tim will you give me a yes or no on the electronics? I'm out of time and need to know if I have to find the time to cover them.

I'm not part of the rules but I see things through the lens. My camera will make that ESC, servo and motor(pending sunshine) stand out.

Can you CA a blacked out piece of lexan to cover the sides of those areas?

You put it that way and I'll want to anyway. Sounds like one more thing to do.

Maybe I missed it, but Ben, Arron, Tim, do you need to have seats in order to get any cage points? Thanks

It worked. Just be sure to click on the "Download This File" link, not the "Free Download" link. They're different.

So is the intent we fill these out and then you or the other judges would simply verify them? Seems like a good way to save time!

My two hoopties are documented. It's the least I can do considering how much effort you and everyone else is putting into this event!
