I've got a question about the amount of legal body trimming allowed in Class 1. The rule states:

Quote:
• The vehicles body must be mostly intact. Mild trimming such as flairs & removing a hardtop allowed only. If hardtop is removed full interior is required. (no extreme trimming of bodies allowed See below.)
This is the front of a stock Toyota Hilux. Note how low the front fender and front valence extend.

Would trimming the front valence/fender to allow a bumper like this be legal? I think it would be pushing the rules, personally. I'm just looking for confirmation beforehand.

I have a question about my class 1 CC01 rig, It says no tire modification allowed but I sanded off the tacky "HPI" logos on my 1.9 Yokohama Geolanders (the ones from the Mini Trophy Truck) for a more scale look does this count as tire modifiaction?

If anyone doesn't let you run those because of that they deserve to be kicked.

I won't go if they don't let you run those tires. And if I don't go, 11 other Utah guys don't go.

Tire modifiaction is tire modifiaction. Rule says no tire modifiaction.

Just kidding

Thanks guys, I didn't think they gave any unfair advantage without the HPI logo They are actually not much softer than the rock hard Hummer tires that came with it but they had the right look I needed

I don't know if I missed it somewhere and the list doesn't have them banned, but are the 2.2 Losi Carvers legal? They look like the Pitbulls.

I've often considered those myself. I think they look more like the 1:1 Pit Bulls than the RC Pit Bulls!

Aaron and Ben,
I had a question about electronics visibility. What is the ruling on viewing the Hand Brothers steering kit through a rigs wheel well as well as the steering servo and other electronics, if it's tucked up nice and neat?

Is it not legal, because they can be view or are visible from the side?

Thanks a bunch!!!!

CMS ok, with servo, but the rest needs to be hidden.

Default Points on Wreckluse

Do I get integraded Shock Mount points on a wreckluse chassis? I have -8 for it being a tuber but without a frame to shock mount, I figured I didn't as it would be included in the -8 tube points.
