There will be a major fw release here soon, 0.5.0. For us the cool thing will be the timers...but now there will be 1 version (not a 3ch, 6ch, 8ch) each model can choose its # of channels. Smaller amt of channels, will have a shorter latency. But the menu structures and the way they look will be quite different.

Just a heads up whats coming.

I just tried a servo swap, same problem. I plugged an extension in 3rd ch without servo, works fine. Tried again with extension and servo, doesn't bind.

I'm thinking it might be the rx. Maybe I should just get a new rx since it's only several $, maybe even a 6ch rx.

Can I run my 3ch and a 6ch for 2 different trucks with the same tx?

Thanks again for helping.

*edit* the swapped servo was a new traxxas one.

psx has released 0-5-0...this will delete your models, also the User Interface has changed, so if you can't comprehend the manual thoroughly i'd suggest keeping 0.4.2 unless you need something from 0.5.0

Main features:
  • added timers - up/down/lap/lap count (which was there already) - there are 2 global timers now, but if it make sense I can do for example timer2 model specific (but with lowering number of model memories)
  • possibility to select number of channels for each model - when less channels are selected, data are send quicker to receiver
  • poweron not-centered warning now has separate global option and defaults to off
  • rotate encoder can be reversed - for GT3C radios
  • PPM constant sync length/constant frame length can be now selected together with its length - for use with external HF modules which may need standard PPM frame length
  • global and key-mapping menu were restructuralized to be more user-friendly

right click, save as, (to somewhere you'll remember), plug in your gt3b, open stvp, open the new firmware, press program

3CH
6CH
8CH

Hi all if you did not know psx has another F.W update out now 0.6.0

main changes:
  • Use FLASH memory to store model configs also. But look at MANUAL, how to program it with STVP and not delete model configs stored at FLASH.
  • There are 67 model memories now But if firmware grow in the future, model memories with highest numbers will be lost.
  • There is only one 8-channel firmware now as there is enough memory models. Global config "default channels" contains number of channels, which will be set to model config by default.
  • There are 4 multi-positions now, with 8/6/4/4 positions.
flashed it on my radio all good config my models no probs so far

Got home today to find out my internet modem took a dump while I was gone. So I'll try and reply to emails with my phone, but it'll take afew days for me to catch up

Also, I have 1 maybe two gt3c pre-orders...if not many are interested I won't be offering hacked gt3c's for awhile as I have to order bulk from China to keep pricing where its at
