ohh, and for anyone looking to install the super 300HD's 'properly', you'll ne needing at least 2 packs of these, I'd recommend at least 4 so when some shims get lost you arent SOL.

I will be in touch with you again soon. As far as a advantage......keep driving like you did at the last comp

I will, but I think when I swap over the front end the hubs will need to be where your at now. I will post up my finding though as soon as I figure it out

Well the tear down has begun.....

After I pulled the front axle off I decided I'm gonna just do a full rebuild. The front case has been jb welded twice so a new case is needed. I also want to finally lighten my gear sets.

I'm heading to 95geo's shop tomorrow to do my case and get these hd 300's set up. More to come soon

Sounds like you might be needing to find 95geo's mill or lathe undo buttons?

The case turned out good, and I made sure I cleaned up the corners on his new front case... The last one started paper thin and only got worse, this one actually has some meat on it still, in addition to the most important bolt on the case staying put!

Post some pics farmer!

No, all worked out well I just meant I want to do a little more work than I originally thought. Plus, I still need to get someone to lighten up a couple things for me

Yah, I will admit my last case was extremely thin. After some debating I decided I better start fresh again and have had thoughts about leaving the front screw. Now that it's done I'm happy with the added strength the case will have again. Especially since I seem to like to launch my rig like a rocket Thanks a ton Bryce, I really appreciate your time and help

Well it looks like I will have some time today to work on both my rig and Money Mike's(superduduty00) since my daughter is home sick. It sucks she is sick, but I guess working on rigs is better than work any day So I guess today I will be sanding the cases smooth and painting them. I thought about getting them anodized, but I'm thinking the price and time frame verses painting them isn't worth it. Unless someone can convince me otherwise in the next few hours. I'll get some more pics up in a while.
Later,
Farmer

Ok, I'm heading to the anodized in a little bit Found a place 15 minutes south of my front door, gotta love Google!!! Figured I would pop into see what they needed me to do to make the process a little easier and just to check out their stuff. The guy on the phone was real cool and more than willing to meet me and get to it
