Id love to pull one of these up to an rc boat meet with a boat and trailor hooked to it, unhook the trailer then shoot the truck across the pond lol

I'm loving the water run! I used to do that with an LST2 w/paddles on it, but sunk it a couple of times and had to do complete engine tear-downs.

Does it sink when you get off the gas, or blow a lipo, or is there some way the wheels hold enough air to swim for it. Cranking that up on a cold day could be bad.

It would sink if I let off the gas...tried a couple of times to see. That said, I put a sandwhich sized ziplock under the body with some air in it...so if I got a bad start or turned too sharp while on the water, I could still doggy paddle it in with the cab half out of the water. My current battery is a Maxamps 3250 3s which appears to be pretty much water proof This rig sits in at around 4.75 lbs right now. |

The pool toy noodles work good too. A chunk of that is probably lighter and will float better also. Cant wait.
