He said it would sink.

My current battery is a Maxamps 3250 3s which appears to be pretty much water proof

This rig sits in at around 4.75 lbs right now.

Expanding foam is open cell and will take in water.

Air in a ziplock is plenty...air yields flotation whether it's in a bunch of little closed cells or just one big one

Been back and forth with what to do with the AX axles for a while now.

With this type of chassis would it be possible to create a 1/10 solid axle racing truggy? Seems like someone was close to that idea with the pin tires in those pictures. Would just need to fab up a wing mount and tune the shocks for the track...

Wow! I always knew a 4x4 with paddles and enough power could drive on water, but I always wondered if it could steer. Now I know!

We are already planning on installing diff's and hitting the local tracks ASAP. The handling for a solid axle rig is pretty insane.

I ran out of video battery but was doing S's and everything before running out of juice. Next plan is to go for some real distance with it

I would really appreciate pictures/video of this when it happens. That's an idea I've wanted to do for several years now, just never found a proper base chassis for it until looking at this.

Well it looks like I shouldn't have sold those AX10 axles after all. Awesome work as usual Oh also any chance you'd be able to fit a 15 series neu/castle motor in there? I've got a 1512 1800kv that would do nicely in something like this.
