Getting busy!

Looking awesome amigo, looks like your almost there, drive shafts look great, and your esc is trick, will you be running a fan for the motor as well?

Amazing work Rusty...this is the best 1/10 Modified class FOFF i've seen, keep up the good work amigo.

hey thanks Man I try my best...I have a fan on the motor maybe you didn't notice it's there it's so small but will do the trick, but all my channels on my RX are all taken so i have to use a battery for power source.....

I wonder if i could use a Y-plug for both my fans on 1 channel on my RX...
It's Axial AX-3 Rx.

Pretty sure you could just steal some power from your other fan.

well finish up the battery tray once that done i still have to make the mounts to the chassis.....I'm not sure how it will hold up will see when it time for a test run...
So far the weight is at 6.4 lbs and all that has to be done is the body or body panels.Still not sure what used....

is always nice to keep scrape foam from ESC box...

Great looking mounts, have to say your camera finger is itchy amigo damn.

Just run it, as long as lipo's are fairly secure you'll be fine. My first test run i just had velcro for the lipo's and didn't even clip the roll cage on, everything stayed where it was supposed to, but i never rolled or crashed it, so was being a little careful.

So looks like the blingmobile will be ready this week for its maiden drive.

But because of its name...you know you can't drive it until midnight right?

Not sure what you mean about itchy fingers, but would it mean like trigger happy... like photo bomb.
My internet cuts out once in a while and i have to make it quick to post before i lose my connection.Something up with this laptop or my server provider..Anyways
About the trays for the batteries.I bought different sizes of pieces of aluminum and i worry that it might be so soft but not sure,to me it seems tough but probably not as tough as steel.
I still have to make side mount bracket just to give it that extra support so that it won't stress the metal to much.I'll post how that's done.
Well i'm almost there.
I've only bench tested only and seems to be ok.I never tried out side yet kinds scared to get her dirty lol. RIGHT like that going to happen.
I have this old lexan body that i have and thinking of using and i'm really liking it..

Now that you mention it.I was thinking of some sort of light system on it.I have a great spot to put 2 front head lights or i was thinking of amber lights, but what Foff has head lights...Not sure how long they would hold up to the abuse...Did i mention still want to make interior simply one person seat you'l see...
Midnight sounds like a plan

Ha ha yeah photo bomb...must be my connection sometimes, takes forever to load your pages sometimes.

Alloy is awesome amigo and don't worry about its strength, make your Foff as light as possible. Mine doesn't feel that heavy...around 5kgs but i need some scales.

I was going to do lights at the front also, but your right, wouldn't look very FOFFY then and there to get damaged unless put into a spot where they couldn't be.

Well you named it the CBMS...midnight has to be the time you run it now...no pulling out from this one.

Full moon...doesn't have to go up and over any dunes or anything...but would be a cool video.

So your doing a scale interior? That would look neat looking forward to it....Mclaren style.

I should have done something so i could have someone sitting inside, but its just an air duct, make sure you can fit a camera somewhere.

Whats a bonum french?

A gopro would be ok, but you can get tired of on-board video quick unless the camera is facing back with the rear wheels in view, that gives you a better effect than going forwards sometimes, great way to see how quick it is, etc.

Would be good to have something similar racing beside you filming, that would look great. If you have to film by yourself then get a tripod and set up some good runs, having a cam in your hand just doesn't work and is so frustrating to watch when the car isn't even in view.

Ya have a few showing the front hood or front tire but not the rear tire, but i forgot i had this, not the camera but the mount on the transmitter..
I had purchase an Axial EXO on E-bay for parts, well the motor an esc are in my 1/10 foff.
when i look at the transmitter i said to myself that looks like a place for a go-pro sure enough it fit, voila.....
I'll have to fab up a couple more on my 2 other transmitter....never tried it yet but i think it will work good ...
Now i have no excuse to do a videio now...that if i can find some sand..the beach for sure.We have lots of those here...check this out...

Do you have another camera? You could have one close to where the action will be and edit them both together.

But will be good for close by stuff for sure, even if you just have it out on some flat sand the camera will pick it up really well...as long as you follow it.

I only learn't to edit not long ago, its really straight forward for basic editing.
I edited some footage for some friends who are into scale, was fun so you'll soon get into it.
If you cant edit then just plan your vid before you record.
