does anybody want a hilift box full of shit? other than a set of old rc4wd tires on stock hilift wheels, a set of elcheapo mudrock 2.2 besdlocks, and some tamiya silvercans, a 20t traxxas, and an oldschool s&k 15t double its mostly scrap. hilift bumpers and rollbar...

if one of you guys wants it, just come over and ill let ya have it all. maybe bring me a whopper or quarter pounder or something. gonna toss it sometime this week if nobody wants it.

welp... i think im going to take the dremel to the backhalf of ricks rig... just too much complicated stuff going on that doesnt let the rear shocks work as good as they could and a bunch of tubework that gets in the way of the rear end completely compressing.

...and some of the bends and angles dont mirror as good as id like. (that shit drives me crazy)

gonna move the shock mounts inboard about .25", pinch the lower tubes coming off the back of the framerails to clear the shocks better, and make a little slide lipo holder that QUICKLY loads from the rear.

if i can somehow salvage the rear end to be some kind of swing down tire carrier (that also gains access to the lipo) ill do that, if not ill make another one thats similar. idea is to have the tire carrier be an optional piece.

also gonna make a real nice and clean full 3d interior, OR cheese out and use one of those 2d spawn interiors.

now i just gotta work up the courage to commit and cut that back end off. might start first by figuring out how to make the battery doohickey and fab that first so i know what i have to work around.

i most likely wont make it out gary. i got a whole week of not doing shit to catch up with before my gf comes over tomorrow.

colorado c2 day was kinda miserable... i think we all had fun but i know for a fact we all kinda hated the c2 day.

and im still debating cutting the rear off ricks rig, might hold off and see if a wraith spawn interior looks good in it and if it does that greatly simplifies the elecs and battery placement/access. i did however get rid of the front end tweak, and it took the leverage of both these bars while praying the welds held and that i wouldnt kink anything to get it fixed. ;)
