Don't see why not... the buggies are about the same size as the 10th scale SC trucks, just going to be a bit heavier.

Probably could toss one of the WR rally bodies on a Slash for that matter!

I had some good times at Hobby Town. I think i will prep my 2WD & 4x4 SC Trucks and check it out Sunday. I thought there was an event on Saturday in Palos? Not sure if i want to do back to back days of racing. I still want to check out the outside track. But need to stay away from the Hobby Shop.

Actually Im wrong, its not even a D8 derivative, its a HPI Bullet derivative which is even worse.

But here are the dimensions...

Length: 485mm
Width: 227mm
Height: 172mm
Wheelbase: 300mm
Tyre Diameter: 80mm

So the tires are only 3.14", so about an 1" smaller than the SC tires which are about 4.2" in diameter.

Otherwise the wheelbase is slightly shorter than a slash at 300mm vs 324mm (slash), so about an 1" and about 1" longer than a stampede (275mm). Width wise its quite a bit narrower (i.e. 227mm vs 296 for the slash).

So pretty much no, its not really 8th scale, its more 10th scale, and its pretty much in its a class by itself.

i love 2wd buggies. they just dont make good bashers and you pretty much need to race them on a nicely maintained track to really have fun with them.
Out of the dark and into the light then?

i just finished tearing down and re-bearinged the wraith. it was MISSING a bearing on the topshaft inside the case... i must have forgotten it last time i tore it down.

i ran 3 or 4 outings with that bearing missing. crazy...

btw the d-lux knuckle bushings are KILLER. 90% of the slop & play at the wheel on the wraith and timmy is gone.

I would like to do the TCC Sat. for sure and see how i feel Sun. then maybe hit the track. Being at the track is pretty layed back going up and down the drivers stand and marshelling is the most excersize you would get. I am sure that i could handel it.

I'm going to the track. I don't have time to do both. Looks like an awesome spot though!
