A few more at the lake with SHOWTIME. There are trees like this along the lake sides. |

Robert, That spot looks peaceful & relaxing. Is your boat stock? I watched a video of a stock jet boat and it was ridiculously slow and not very entertaining. A swap is mandatory for these things, huh? Yeah Hoopty, That setup in that little jet boat is pretty clean |

I'm thinking about making the switch from the futaba to the flysky. Trey has been running his the longest and I just learned recently that he has been doing it unhacked this whole time. That is interesting. I think I'm going to pick up the unhacked setup with extra Rx's. Hobbypartz.com has them.. or is there somewhere else I should be getting it? anything else you experienced ones can tell me before I buy? I have a 4pl & three 2104gf RX's to fund this + some. |

Due in stock Jan 2013! http://www.graupner.de/en/products/1...tab=spareparts Last edited by johnnyh66; 07-31-2012 at 07:54 PM. |

| Mine has been great! I bought it because it was cheap and people gave it good reviews. So far I haven't had a need for a 4th channel. You can run 3 things and still have an extra power port for lights or a fan. My third channel requires a double tap with the heyok winch controller but that's not a big deal. I got rechargeable batteries for it too. Hey even if it breaks suddenly I've had it a year almost...$40 to replace it isn't a big deal. Hard to argue with that.

I stumbled on an R1 on Craigslist last night up here in Minnesota that seemed a little too good to be true. 2010 with 1500 miles and no damage for $3400. Gotta say I was kinda excited about it! Lady said she just went through a divorce and was trying to get rid of it. Turned out to be a scam. Sucks! I thought I was about to get a new toy. Reported the add to the FBI website for internet fraud. At least I figured it out when I did. Stupid people.

That Graupner is what was Turtle put in. I'm not sure what cooling jacket it is, but it does look like a VXL 380 can motor. | |

That actually looks like a hime made water jacket. When we first starting putting electrics in boats, we just took either aluminum or copper tubbing and wrapped it tight around the motor to make them.

Johnny! Calm down ya crazy! You got money burnin a hole in your pocket! I'm gonna try to do my boat on the super cheap.. Hacked! So far I have about $50 in it with $7 flysky RX.. Haha. Maybe I can keep it under $75 Jason, does the offer still stand for that ESC you mentioned when I was trying to do twin 13t motors? I could use an esc for this thing. 3s capable? john i've posted links on what i used in my boat. search back a few pages. cheap hobbyking stuff and a 15 buck ebay motor since hobbyking was sold out. there is a HUGE thread here on rcc and a even HUGE-r thread about jetboats on rcu. like huge... Unofficial "NQD" Tear into Jetboat Thread i dunno why would you not spend the little extra and get one hacked. was worth it to me just for the momentary switches but it also opens the channels up and u get more tunability. |
