Johnny. There is a bug tube chassis in the classifieds for $40. Needs a little work, but looks legit. Figured id pass it along.

I think it has great potential. I look forward to trying to make mine unique.
That's nice and it comes ready to go like that. Do you have a link for that

Todd, just search for "rc crawler jeep" on ebay and look for them. They come in red & yellow.

I like how everything looks perfect inside the china jeep body, except the gas and brake pedal. Looks like they are thicker for a midget driver....or maybe jeeps in china have thick ass pedal pads so the chinese can reach them?

Dont forget to add a clutch pedal in there!

Just ordered my FS-GT3B/reciever combo, and 2 extra recievers for the future. Still waiting on my R2J winch anchor, and my wraith beef toobs to show up.

I have a question on scx10 drive shafts coming apart. It's happened to me twice now both times when stuck in rocks. I have mip units now will this solve the problem or is it possible for these to come apart the same way ? Is there something flexing to much in the rear allowing them to come apart ?

The plastic driveshafts opened up around the pin. The MIPS will show you the next weakest link. (Outputs?)

What rigs are you guys bringing to Indian Caves Sun?
I'm thinking Melons and the Ford... I haven't fixed Hera yet.

Edit: I'll probably fix/bring Hera too.

Sorry, I haven't been paying attention.. Is there an event happening or is it a NIRC GTG?

Approximately how far is it? I'm an hour north of you guys, maybe I can meet at one of your places and car pool? Who all is going?
