Cranked out a battery holder today. It'll hold that battery nice and tight when bouncing over the countryside.

Sarge: Hey, I snagged this pouch off some dead Germans a while back. I looked inside and found a map of all of the German defensive implacements along the whole French coastline. I've got to get this back to HQ as soon as possible.

Michelle: Vell, you had better finish up ze Jeep very soon !

I just noticed the gas tank detail inside of the body. I need to find one of these Jerps for the next build!

I like this Jeep as the body is dimensionally a tad bit bigger than the original GI Joe one (and it works with Wraith axles). Makes it easier when working on it with my big fingers !

Now to get the fender light working too. Might need that light when creeping around in the dark...

Looks like it's working good.

All right. Gonna load up the box in the back end...

Now to secure it down.

Now to put some switches in here to control some of the items that I'm running on the Jeep. Don't want anything to drain the battery when it should be off.

Man, this is one heavy lead acid battery...

Someday I'm going to invent a battery that's ultralightweight. I've been thinking that a combo of lithium and something would do the trick...

Added a switch to control the light on the front fender so that I can run it all by itself if need be...

Now to drill a hole in the body to run the rollcage lights wire through...

Now to route some of the wires underneath the body and along the chassis...

I'll sleeve the wiring inside this flexible material that gives it protection while keeping it bundled up.

Now to put it alongside the chassis rails...

Not a bad day's work... Man, I can't stand wiring. I wish it were painless - someday I'll start a company that makes new harnesses for cars... naaaaa, no one would buy one if they can do it themselves.

Hey Michelle.... so where did you go?

Michelle: I went for a walk.

Michelle: ...and I got you these!

Sarge: Why, thank you. That was nice of you!

LOL! I figured that was what everyone was wanting....

Guess it would have to look something like a scene from "Team America".

She's a spy. There's something on those flowers that will spell 'lights out' for Sarge if he takes a sniff.

Man-o-man,
You all are so paranoid that you're beginning to freak me out a little...
Just harmless fun to get my daughter involved in the build...
Just got all of the parts that I was waiting for to finish the Jeep. Shouldn't be much longer now ........

It's all good !
