It'll have a Axial/Wraith/SCX10 type of transmission with hardened Robinson gears. It can be geared with an 87 tooth or 58 spur or anything in between...
I think the brushless will still allow for slow crawling with either transfer case so I'm thinking that that the bulletproof one is what I'll go with...
Sarge might have to creep his way back in stealth mode

Let me use the Bowie knife to make some holes in this frame and then I can attach the bumper to it...

Gotta drill the hole juuuuust deep enough to let the screw get in there but not punch out the backside. Then gotta tap it for the screw...

All RIIIIIIIIIGHT !!!
Got the frame attached to the body using some funky Euro-peeon screws measuring 3mm from the inside the body tapped into the top of the frame rails. I also found some red liquid to put onto the frame rail screws... that should hold it REAL well !

Did some measuring with things in place then dropped the motor into the engine compartment.

Anchored the transmission into place with some screws...

Decided to use the Disruptor transfer case as I've got two choices in gearing. If I don't like one I'll just swap in the other ratio unit. No muss, no fuss.

Using some extra bar stock to help position the transfer case where I want it...

Dropped everything into it's respective place to do some measuring. Looks like I can make it all happen... holding an axe makes me feel like I'm really doing something !!!

Now to get an idea where the link mounts will go...

Found some scrap metal sheeting and whipped up this transfer case mount using the 'ol Bowie knife. Don't know why everyone loves a Swiss Army knife when the Bowie does it all !!!

Now to place the supports where they go...

Then to place the steel plates that will anchor the transfer case to the mounts.

I figure when I'm working on the bottom of the body I'll add some protective metal sliders. The shears snip off just what I need.

Now what do I do with this?

A little shaping with the small hammer...

And then check the fit... as OJ will one day say... "Fits like a glove". Oh no, wait...

Just use this tool to hollow out the bezel.

Now to drive in the last screw to hold the rock guards on...

The plastic protective housing for the light bugged me so I made one out of metal.
