I don't want you to break your rig.
Looking at the pics I can already tell you right now.

Don't do it.

The quarter inch links are NOT going to get you there man.

Plastic rodends?!!!!
I thought you said you were all metal!!

I am talking about 10 foot drop offs ALL DAY LONG.

I'm talking about being so wedged, those quarter inch links would turn into playdoh.

Two brushless motors pull more of a draw then a single large brushless.
Are you running two packs?

Also I am running A123 cells. 13.2 volts

Have you ever run the Jumbo Swamp kongs in thick mud?

My Drive train is HAND BUILT to hold this motor AND Jumbo kongs.

Are you telling me that you are not going to break putting jumbo kongs and outrunners on??

Snappy snappy my friend.

As I have said. You are comparing apples to oranges here.
A Clod to a shafty.

And the fact you have to modify your rig to make it do everything my rig can do, the way it is...

If you survive the comp with out something broken and you wanna tug-o-war, I would LOVE IT.

But just leave the kongs at home, You do so well at the comps.
Don't wreck it doing what it was not designed to do.

BASH!!!

Did someone say tug o war? I'll hook up, I'll even throw on the 8 1/2" LST's if ya want, I'm not scared, I drug a 50 pound weight across the rocks in BC, dead weight. The 2 foot fall you saw where I broke a knuckle was not a rc4wd, those usually just bend, or strip screws out, not saying they are any good though.....

Crazy jumper, I can't beleive you get by with those maxx ends on your links, I can't get those to last in my little rockpile out back on my 2.2, let alone my super. But your style is differant from mine.

There aluminum now, that pic is a week or so old, heck I was all plastic until a month ago, and made it to the nats with a $450 truck.

Hey - That motor sounds interesting W.C., hope to check it out at a comp when you get done with the new frame and all the goodies.

No cells yet

SOON!

Got the harness made for the lithium balancer today.
All set for the A123's and the 3S lipo for the steering.

Tried running the Longfellow, (S3032) on 12 HPI 1500 nicad cells last night and blew a negative wire off the pack
I love the smell of POWER CONSUMPTION!

Tomorrow, Diffs, and Tranny get tore down in preparation for Nats.
All bearings checked, and everything disassembled and cleaned.

The input shaft is due for replacement.

MORE METAL RODENDS!

Bad day today.

Lost what I had thought was a friend.

Big deal went south, so Moab would be a miracle.

Nothing came in the mail.

Atleast I'll get some sleep tonight.

I have an 1/8th scale buggy conversion that will see it, and for a crawler I am going to put it into my twin force. I dont have anything else that would take the power (if the tf axles will take it)
