Noob question: what does FOFF stand for?

I'd assume just a toy, but I could be wrong. Got it with the McRC when I bought it last year. Only thing I've done is trim the flares, add the stock Trekker wheels & tires, and flip the motor/trans, which I think I need to flip the wiring, too, because now it runs pretty hot. And definitely sounds different. Goes faster in reverse, too.

Swap the motor wires and flip the switch on the radio. That will fix the problem

Yup.....just gotta' do it now. Maybe this weekend. I hate soldering......probably because I suck at it! Maybe I can just swap the wires in the connectors instead. Same difference, right?

I been hijacked...lol. seriously though, don't stress solder work. Heat what you need soldered and NOT the solder itself. Start with a clear workspace and all the stuff laid out in the order you need it. You can always practice on junk wire too.

I've got shaky hands like crazy. The small stuff sucks. I've learned to find a way to rest my arm on the table while holding parts or my iron to kinda help with that. Just like anything though, it also takes time. Stuff I used to fight with is gerting easier over time. After playing with micro helis last winter I've learned that this stuff ain't that small. The wire on those things is like two hairs thick. My iron burns the wire AND insulation.

I have one. Awesome for small stuff. Still sucks with shaky hands, callused fingers, terrible eyes, and a short attention span...
