Thanks Joe$! It's coming around.. Electronics placed and seats mounted. The rear bumper was holding the bed up in the air. Which caused the body to noise driver towards the front. I either had to lift the front mounts or lower the rear bumper. Easiest route taken, to see how it turned out.. Grabbed a strip of CF, made 4 pieces of equal length and drilled holes. Not to bad for a 10 min project! I drilled the 3rd hole,(at the bottom) not knowing why, other then I had room for it.. It worked out perfect! To keep the bumper from rolling down. So on ward we go! And some poser shots.. With some small things still to go. I used window tint on the rest window and pass window.. Not the best job, but how good was window tint in the 80's.. Lol.. Small details to go, as well as the Shift servo goin back on yet. Solder the motor wires on and is rtr! Oh, I also have some 1.9 CI 4.25" foams coming as well. |

| Are you stalking my threads!? ;) Yeah, it Was a "shelf queen" for the previous owner's.. Now she just sits on a shelf waiting to be finished like a queen and hammered on like she's in the bedroom.. It's still getting some attention, just not much.. The last few months have been comp, comp, comp.. Not much room for scale, that isn't comp.. I have some neat new stuff tho. Coming soon.. A little glimpse of why this mod came about... Rc4wd's "upgrade" that cost me 10$ a Minute to run! Now this is what I call a Upgrade! More pics to follow and process explanations.. |

Short side "drive shaft" ?.. Off the transfer case? Or short side "axle shaft"...?; At this point, it looks like I'm going to order wraith axle shafts. The scx doesn't(I don't think) get the amount of engagement into the locker, that I think is exceptable.. And at that point, why cut the other scx shaft down... So, if I get a set of V1 wraith vvd's, I can use the axle shafts on this project and the wraith vvd stub shafts on the scx axle shafts and mod a scx axle for wraith steering.. I see that BND(a vendor here) has beef tubes or "repair tubes" that are actual scx width but for XR/wraith steering setups.. So prolly something I'll look into.
