Ok I have finally got a chance to work on the super a bit more. I really haven't made to much progress but I would like to thank my friend Marc (Moes670) for doing up my TI links for me. We went with 1/4 rear lower TI and everything else is 3/16. Also the front lowers have some nice TI sliders made by Marc as well. The links turned out very nice. He also did the tie rod out of 1/4 TI front and rear as well.
So now I have to figure out how to get the shocks mounted to the axles and chassis without binding and hopefully not a ton of standoff. Here are a few pics.

I have been trying to lighten up the wheels. I'm not sure if I took them to far or not. I guess time will tell. I also did up some washers for the hole pattern for the slw hubs. Anyways here are a few pics.

Here is a stock narrowed wheel from CI.

Very nice! Good idea on those hub washers.....my hub bolts were really digging into the plastic until I started using the washers.

Looks killer Dave. I have started going to a one piece blast wheel (basically just cut the back side off) and they have been working out great.

Im interested to see what you come up with for shocks/mounts.

Thanks Jeremy. Ya I noticed it needed some sort of washer when I bolted em up the first time.

Thanks Jim. I'm hoping I will be able to just use the stock mounts and I'm going to be doing the big bore shock mod with the rod ends on a 4" big bore. And then I will have to stand the shocks off a bit to clear the motors. Anyways hoping that will work. Going to do the shock mod on monday at work prob.

It's looking very nice Dave, get that thing finished now!
Marc did an awesome job on your links, look almost as good as the ones he helped my with on my Super!
I'm really liking your Blasts too.

Thanks Shelby.

So I haven't really made a ton of progress on it this weekend but here are a few more pics. Got the wheels done and mounted up. So tomorrow I'm hoping to get the shock mod done on the big bores and figure that out and then I should have some CI foams this week. Then I still need to make the front weight hangers and then get all the electronics mounted up. So getting closer.

They are 600's for now. I may need to change em later on. We will see how they clear.

Ok so I got the shocks mounted up. I'm not done yet. I just wanted to get them mounted and see if I could make it work and I think I can. I need to stiffen up the chassis a bit more where the shocks are mounted and have a plan for that. I would also like to drill another hole a little further back on the front end to tip the shocks back a little bit more. And I know the ride height is to high right now. I haven't even messed with limiting them yet. I stuck it on the scale to see what it was as you see it. Its sitting at 4lbs 2oz. And of course I still have all the electronics to mount in there and foams and tires and weights and body panels. I can't imagine getting close to 5.5lbs like Krawl is attempting, but it should be fairly light for what it is.

Dave its hard for me to tell but if you put longer rod ends on the shock shafts would they reach the stock shock mounting holes? I'm just thinking this would lay your shocks down a bit and lower your ride height at the same time.

The rig is looking killer though!

Good point Jim. I will have to go through my rod ends and see what I got. Thanks.
