Ya thanks for the help. It was good to meet you as well Ryan. And it looks like your rig performed really well. Nice work in supers.

Still good after two 20ft drops off of that one couse on gate 5. At least I think everything is still good. Haven't really looked it over to closely since I got back yet. But I think the only thing it did was strip out the rear servo horn which I didn't find until I started my 3rd course.

A few pics from this the west coast shootout. I haven't updated this thread in a while. The only thing I've really changed is narrowing up the track width and new wheels and new taller tires.
The super took an absolute beatin this past weekend. The courses were pretty insane.

Congrats on an absolute butt whoopin weekend Dave. I have to apologize for the insanely difficult super courses. At our local level I usually have time to walk the courses but at this event I just had to much on my plate. Next time we will ask the designers to error on the easy side to make up for it!

So what'd you end up narrowing the width up to...outside of tire to outside of tire?

No worries at all Jim. You guys put on an awesome event and would love to come down again if you guys decide to throw it again. That rock was amazing.

I'm sitting at about "13.5 outside to outside of the tires. I was running wider down at Best of the West and it killed alot of people with the gates that were set up. Just couldn't fit without taking a gate. So I thought I would try and get used to a narrower track width.

Tires have been working great. I ran a smaller tire with the same pattern and those worked really good as well. I'm really liking the extra height with these tires. I went from about a 7.125" tall tire to a 7.5".

The latest addition to the crawlers is a new and long time overdue Futaba 4pks-r. Finally bucked up and scooped one up. I've been running the nomadio react for a long time now.
I also scooped up a set of red velvet shocks from super shafty and they are butter smooth.
