I sure would've hoped for a better result than this, but it's not stopping me from using the body. I dont know if I feel the need to fix it, I might just get it worse with my 15 thumbs.. I guess that there's several things that made this go bad, I was painting outside and the wind picked up right before I sprayed it, therefore I had to go way too close to get the paint to even hit the body, I sure shouldn't gone through with it but I did.. And I guess I could've shaken those cans a bit better as well, but I thought I did well.. But with my ADD-light I may have skipped a few minutes there.. :p You know, I got so excited when I got up that morning that I forgot to think about what color to paint it and everything, I forgot masking windows on the inside and I flew around myself like a fu**ing butterfly on speed.. So the choise of color was just a fluke, it simply was the first can I took up from the stack.. :p But now I'm gonna edit some photos of todays session on the H1, at least I had a blast taking that one for a ride! I didn't take a lot of photos, or maybe I should say I did.. Coz I did.. Sorry in advance.. :p

Just some pics from yesterdays drive. Originally I had over 60 pictures, and I got them down to 40 by sorting them out.. And now I've been doing some eeny-miny-miney-mo to choose a few to post.. I'm getting good at this! |

I am thinking of buying a sport.. I allready got the Mamba X and the same motor as I got in the Defender. In that case I'm thinking of buying the GRC axle housings as well.. I think they're really expensive, but then again they look really nice and got a few features that I'm missing on the ones I have today.. |

Man that was a nice reply to get, not just did I have the best day yet in the new job(I headhunted my best man from the old job ower to my new job, and I love it!!) but when I logged in here this post was waiting.. Haha, lovely!! I might put the blame on you for the GRC-axle housing, I just pushed the order-button on eBay for it, I almost regret it.. But they look so sick tho'!! |

Used slider? What is that? Show me! I'm gettin' curious! I'm a COO at a company building trucks, they vary in size from regular Toyota HiLux up to 35 tons trucks with cranes, dumptrucks, colling units +++ We build what the customer wants, he just tells us what he wants the vehicle to do and then we give him the solution. And I love it so far and it's just gettin' better each day since I'm all new in that company. Quote:

It is basically a Bronco trx4 with no body, and no wheels, I need to get the narrow wheel Wells now so I can fit my body Sent from my LG-H870DS using Tapatalk |

Hehe, I understood that, I just had to put you on the spot there.. But yeah, I would love to be the one finding a more reasonable prized H1, but I just got this expensive one that I've rolled a lot with, and the only things that have come loose is a mirror and a lot of lights.. |

Really enjoyed your thread! Great pics and cool to see how you bravely forged ahead making the truck your own. The more I see the Defender body the more I want one...

And even if I in a way hate to admit it, the black Defender is still my favorite.. I'm not sure how the silver one is ending up yet, I'm kind of hoping for that one to become my new "golden child", but even if I think the H1 is awesome and sweet, the Defender is just.. Ah I love that one! Even if it doesn't have the rounded corners in back of the cabin, but that I got to hide with the way I mounted the bars in front of the bed..

Ooohhh! Not directly RC, but there will be done some RC work on this bench..!! One of the perks of the new job is that I got very good deals on racks like this. Nevermind the chaos, I'll sort that out while filling the drawers Sent fra min SM-G965F via Tapatalk |
